I woke up by 3pm. I think this is the longest night in my life. I opened my eyes and immediately see Ellard still sleeping beside me. I didn’t get up or remove his arms around me. I just stared at him. His presence calmed me down. I don’t know why he has this effect on me. His eyes fluttered so I immediately close my eyes. I don’t want him to catch me staring at him like a stalker or some weirdo. I thought he’s awake but he didn’t make any moves so I guess he’s still sleeping. I slowly opened my eyes and saw him chuckling silently.
“What?” I frowned at him.
“It’s just that you look so cute when you’re pretending to be asleep.”
“I’m not pretending!”
“Yes, you are. I’ve watch you asleep so many times so I know when you’re pretending and you’re not.”
“That’s freakin’ unfair!” I protested.
“And you sucked at acting.” I want to sit up but he won’t let me go.
“Let me go, you jerk!”
“You told me not to let you go.” I blushed and looked away.
“I-I didn’t.” I stuttered.
“You’re stuttering? That’s cute.”
“Stop gushing like a girl.” I glared at him.
“Then make me shut up.” I smirked at him.
“How am I going to do that?” My eyes twinkle in excitement.
“Kiss me.” He winked at me then just like a ninja, in a blink of an eye, he’s out of my bed and laughing his heart out.
“What the heck Ellard.” I abruptly sat up and throw a pillow at him.
“Why? You’re willing to do that?” He raised his eyebrow at me.
“Shut up!” I blushed and throw another pillow at him.
“Shut up and kiss you?”
“Leave me alone!” I shrieked.
“If you say so.” He stopped laughing and started to walk towards the doorway. Panic surged through me. He can’t really leave me, right? No, he can’t leave. There’s no way in hell I would allow him nor permit him to leave me. He needs to stay beside me.
“No!” I yelled. My heart is beating so loud and fast. It feels like it’s about to explode.
“What did you say?” He looked at me in shock.
“N-Nothing.” I looked down at my lap.
“Okay, then I’m leaving.” My head snapped up.
“I said no.” I said quietly. I’m not even sure if he heard me.
“What no?” I slowly looked up and saw him staring at me.
“Don’t ever leave me alone.” I said in a voice barely above a whisper.
“If you say so.” His face lit up and he walked towards me. “Are you going to school tomorrow?” I suddenly feel cold as my eyes widened. Am I going to school tomorrow? Am I? No, let me rephrase my question. Can I? If I see Boyd again…. I shivered. Stop thinking now for goodness’ sake!
“Niesha.” I was hyperventilating when I look at Ellard. He sighed then shook his head at me. HE walked towards me and sat beside me.
“Will I ever see him again?” I said coldly.
“No.”
“Are you sure?” I look up at him.
“Yes.”
