The next day I arrived at school on time. I didn't fancy hearing Mr Lewis lecture me again about my tardiness. As I walked into the grounds Mr Lewis smiled at me, presumably he figured his chat with me had elicited the punctuality in me. Although, considering I had indeed turned up on time, I guessed he would be correct in his analysis.

Maureen and Patrick were equally shocked to see me arrive.

'Someone wet the bed', Maureen jested, I smiled and pushed her in the shoulder.

'He's at it again', Patrick said with his back to us. Maureen turned quickly and looked in the same direction that Patrick was.

'What you doing?', I asked.

'Watching Brian, Duke and Bill. They're dealing drugs'

I looked over and immediately spotted Brian, but failed to see the other two.

'Watch what happens when another person comes up'

I watched and waited. Finally a small boy walked up to him. The boy held up the palm of his hand, to which Brian nodded and walked off. Duke turned up afterwards and was given some money, he counted and walked off. Bill came up next and handed something to the boy.

'We should film it', Patrick suggested pulling out his mobile phone.

'How do you have a mobile phone?', Maureen asked.

Patrick finally turned around. 'I've always had one, I just don't bring it in to school normally.....School rules', he held his hands out. 'So, what do you think, should I film it'.

'Yes'

'No'

It was me who said "no", I had other plans for him and I wanted him for myself'

They both turned to me. 'What do you mean no?', Patrick asked.

I had to think quick. 'You won't be able to do anything with it, because you're not supposed to have a phone on you'.

'That doesn't matter', Maureen stated

'Yes it does', Patrick stood there in thought,'I don't want to be suspended for it and when mum finds out I brought it in, she'll stop me from having one'.

'Uhhh, you two are so annoying', Maureen said and stomped off towards the school entrance.

We watched her go, then followed her. As we stepped into the school, Mr Lewis's voice came over the tannoy system.

"Remember, there will be no last quarter of the day, as today it's sports day'

A huge cheer went up from the children as they made their way to class.
