I don't know what made me vow to turn against Zayn. He was always there for me, the person I could talk too and that made me feel safe. But it felt like the right thing to do, at least it was something I wanted to do. Maybe it was out of spite, just to make him feel pain like I do. At first it wasn't my intentions but now all I feel is the need to take him down.

"Hopefully I can pull this off." I was still nervous around Floyd. He wasn't someone to mess with, nor someone you should even have an ally with because he could turn on you. I was playing a deadly game of chest here, I had to be cautious of what I did. "I mean this situation itself is a bit sketchy." I mumbled, clicking away on the laptop as I switched through all of the frames. The security cameras giving me advantages of what I was able to see, my eyes following Zayn movements as he carelessly walked the halls as if he owned the place

"Don't worry about him, he's clueless when it comes to that medication he puts off." Floyd chuckled to himself, finding joy in the little things which can change Zayn. Anything that can put him off gives Floyd and Brooks another way to study things to get Floyd on top. "You'll be fine if you play your cards right. And remember who you're working for now." The white stick hanging from his crooked teeth added more to his look. He wasn't old but definitely wasn't young either. The wrinkle beside his eyes showed how far it's been since his youth days. Somehow he reminded me of someone but I couldn't lay my finger on it just yet.

"I know." I whispered quietly. "I just can't believe I'm finally doing something. It feels right." I tried hard to convince him that I was putting in a effort to be on his side, or maybe that's what I was trying to tell myself in order to believe it.

"Because you know what he's capable of...and we can't have that. I've been quiet for a few weeks now. It's amazing to see how anxious he gets. He also thinks that he can have Ryder followed so she doesn't run into me. He also thinks it will keep Brooks away from her." The guy stalked around my room like a selective cat. Noticing mere objects and testing them out as if he is going to use it before he drops them, uninterested.

"How close are you to her exactly? That seems weird but whatever you can do to keep her away from him, I'm fine with it." I smirked in hopes of him spilling details. The more information I had, the better.

"That my little flower is not information worth giving. Tell me something." He wiped the end corners of his mouth, turning towards me. "When a lion wants to hunt do they just attack? Or do they have plans, regulations and schedules to follow through with?"

"I can only tell you that I know it's a long wait before you trap what you want." I explained trying to figure out what he meant by this, better yet where he was going with this.

"Close. But also if he wants to trap something early then he must have a strategy. A back up plan to support if the original plan fails by all means." He stood close to the car like a tower, leaning down and placing his arms on the window. "That means I have options and I'm taking my time choosing between them. There's nothing like a good horror movie if you get straight to the good stuff. It reminds me of that."
