Hey guys! Before I start I just wanna say thank you for reading, I'm so glad you're enjoying it. But sadly we only have 20 (give or take a few which would mean 30) more chapters left.

The ride to the police station in the back of a cop car wasn't exactly on my list of best moments ever. It was actually the most embarrassing time in my life and I had a lot that it could've been up for the running, but this at the moment was at the top.

I was just happy that McCain didn't go as far as to put handcuffs on me. Part of me wished I hadn't opened up my mouth, but that wouldn't have stopped them from requesting me to arrive with them there; Harry all but refused, basically putting up a fight to get them to wait a few days for me. But I figured it would seem like I had something hide and I honestly just wanted to get it over with, even if it meant I would be grilled for what happened tonight.

The entire station was filled with cops and detectives rushing back and forth, the sounds of audio coming from dispatch calls and the main area having a bunch of people with cuffs on their wrists, awaiting to either be let go or sent to the back. I was here once a long time ago and never really thought of what it was like actually, that was such a dark time for me and I barely remembered what happened when I was placed into the system.

But since I was minor they agreed to let me go early, not including the fat check my mother handed over to get me out. She practically saved me that night, but she couldn't save me from having a court date or getting a record.

The entire thing brought back painful flashes of what I could remember that night, luckily McCain was on duty about something else so he didn't see me that night. But now was the first time I was going to be dealing with him, although I haven't done anything I just felt like I was in here for a specific reason than what happened tonight. If it was about that I would've seen other people that were able to get away, not just me.

"Right this way, Miss Brown." McCain said behind me, sliding past and walking toward brown double doors. He pushed the closest one open for me, holding a hand towards the hall. "After you." He hummed lowly as I walked through slowly, not bothering to show any signs of annoyance.

I walked down the hall slower than I did when we entered the building , looking at everything and everyone that passed us by, I could almost feel the judgement coming from every cop or detective that walked past. They mostly expected people that had to be involved with McCain were top notch criminals, most of them were put into prison or almost on the verge of it. Majority of thing things you saw on the news used to be accurate, there are times half of the court dates were shown. So I could see why they would think that because I did, I judged almost as hard as they did and now I'm here. I just wish they didn't think so low of me. My eyes landed on the phone at the end of the call

He opened a door to a room on the right walking inside, I took a deep breath before following him and taking a seat on the metal chair in front of the desk. I could feel perspiration dripping down my back, damping my shirt as I leaned back into the chair, the other two closed the doors and handing over a file to him. Which I expected was my criminal record, just that one thing was enough for him to probably see me as someone who is walking trouble.
