Two weeks...
It's been two weeks since everything, at one point I always thought of that term as something fantastic happening in the past. A chance to remember it wasn't that long ago, that you've only spent twelve days far from that moment. When I was younger, it felt like nothing but two days let along weeks. I used to hate and adore those words, it was still so close that I could talk about it. Yet, it was also so far that I had to realize it's been a while since I experienced it. But now, it just feels like a life time and I hate it so much.
It has been officially two weeks since I've talked to Zayn, since I've seen N'dra and since that night full of different emotions by the multiple events. Every since that night, both of us had been incredibly busy. So busy to the point, neither of us had a chance to engage in our daily ounce of banter. It's also been two weeks since he's called me his special nickname, in a way I was relieved. I had a chance to think of everything, yet it was also the loneliest I've ever felt. The first few nights here didn't even seem this hard, yet somehow this made me wanna tear up at everything.
I wasn't allowed to talk Taylor, she was extremely busy as well. Making sure to be at Zayn's hand and foot, getting them into places without being seen. I never had to pride to ask, not wanting myself to seem as if I was interested. Hoping that would allow me to look independent and completely unbothered, at least it's what I tried to tell myself. I wanted to know the strategies they were doing, just to continue doing their work and avoiding this guy Brooks and whoever he's working with. It frightened me half to death, yet Harry just encouraged me to keep doing what I was doing. They would expect us to have cautious plans, inching around everything just to keep me safe. That wasn't even half of the plan from what I knew, I was allowed more opportunities than I had gotten when I first arrived. At point I was suspecting they just didn't care, but that wasn't the idea at all. They just wasn't going to shy away, all of them were ready to fight. Awaiting to soak in the vengeance of Zayn's friend and N'dra, also seemed like it was a little more personal to Zayn than what he lead on. Yet, I still made sure to keep to myself. Being deep within school work, trying hard to keep the remains of my scholarship.
I was pretty much on thin ice, the amount of days I took off became noticeable. My mother also giving off the fact I wasn't around, so she had no idea why I wasn't showing up to classes. The major change in my focus, work and attendance having a drastic downfall. Luckily with the help of Zayn in spirit, I was able to come up with the perfect plan to say where I was at and got a doctor's note. No matter how much I couldn't stand him, he was a big help when it was needed. But I knew there was going to be a slight price to pay, all of this was near the end. On my way of finally being able to leave, I'm going to have a serious debt to pay. We were in a okay position, some days being able to tolerate each other. Then other days completely hating each other's guts. Then it was those other days, those very rare days when we both seemed to like each other little too much; That was almost dangerous, it was like going into the zoo and wandering the lions den then running into a vicious alpha lion.
