Today is the release of Cheryl's fourth solo album.  There's a huge album party later tonight and she's ecstatic.  Melanie is proud of her mother and is excited to see everyone's reaction to the new songs.  Cheryl has played her daughter all of the songs, except one. Melanie has no idea that one of the songs even exist and Cheryl has made sure to keep it that way.

"I think that we should eat a small lunch." Cheryl said, not wanting to fill up on too much food before the party tonight.

"You can eat a small lunch, I'm eating a sandwich and crisps." Melanie said, causing Cheryl to roll her eyes.  Ever since she's hit the teen stage, she's been having growth spurts here and there.

"Stop growing, your almost as tall as us!" Cheryl whined as she stood next to her daughter and was almost looking her in the eyes.  Melanie giggled as Cheryl tried to make herself taller by standing on her tippy toes.

Melanie took a moment to slow down time and admire her mother.  Cheryl didn't notice, but Melanie was just replaying all of her childhood over in her head.  All the stuff Cheryl's done for her is just priceless, there's no number Melanie could possibly pay Cheryl to repay her.  Melanie snapped out of her daydream and kissed her Mam's cheek.

"I love you, Mamma." Melanie quietly said and showed off her dimples.  Cheryl looked in her daughter's eyes and saw the genuine look of love.

"I love you zillions." Cheryl kissed her daughter's cheek back and smiled as Melanie made her lunch.

"What are you wearing tonight?" Melanie asked her mother as she sat down, curious to know what her Mam is wearing on her big night.

"I'll have to show you the picture." Cheryl opened her phone and scrolled through her thousands of pictures.  Most of them are of Melanie that Cheryl takes when she sees her daughter being adorable.

"That's beautiful, Mamma. You'll look really good in that." Melanie complimented her mother's dress, making Cheryl smile widely.

"Thank you, Mel." Cheryl kissed Melanie's temple and got up to call Lily about the surprise planned for tonight.

Melanie finished her lunch as she scrolled through her own phone. Social media has never been something that majorly interests Melanie, but she doesn't mind it when she gets bored. As she finished her lunch, she went upstairs and took a quick shower to start getting ready.

"Melanie!" Cheryl called up the staircase "Can't be late for me own big night!" Cheryl yelled a bit louder, needing Melanie to hurry up. After waiting for a moment, the teen came to the top of the staircase, making her mother look up. Jean-Bernard also stood next to his wife, looking up at the teen.

"Aww, me baby.  You look so beautiful, I could just squeeze you to death." Cheryl pinched her daughter's cheeks and kissed her pout after squishing her face.  Melanie smiled when her mother took her hands off her face and walked to the kitchen.

"Hi, gorgeous, you clean up nice." JB said to Melanie, joking around with her. That's what they do - they joke about everything.

"I guess you do too." Melanie cheekily said and shrugged her shoulders before looking back at him and laughing. They followed Cheryl to the kitchen and saw her texting Lily, probably.
