•Nash's POV•

Hayes got to go see her first. That made me kind of mad because I wanted to be the first, other than her family, to see her.

But I knew he would go in before me. He really cares about her, and from what I can see, she cares about him.

Should I just give up on trying to win her over?

Or nah, I'll give it one more shot.

Hayes has been in their for at lease ten minutes. I thought everyone only got five?

Finally he came out with a small smile on his face. What happened in there?

"Took you long enough, geez" I say to him.

"Shut up 'Trash Nash'" he replies.

I just roll my eyes and walk in to go see Brittany.

When I get in her room, I sit on the edge of her bed.

"Hey Nash" she says.

She looks alright. She's sitting up and doesn't look like she's in too much pain.

"How are you feeling?" I ask her.

"I'm okay. Just a broken arm" she replies.

"Oh, are you getting a cast?"

"Yeah. Pretty soon actually. They're going to have to set it and that's going to hurt, a lot. I'm kind of scared" she says, frowning.

"You'll be okay, don't worry. It'll feel much better later" I say, trying to comfort her.

"I guess so" she replies.

"Are you and your family going to leave tomorrow?" I ask.

"I'm not sure, I'm going to try to convince then to use their tickets. I can stay back at our place by myself. I'd be fine. They would go to wasted if they didn't get used"

"Oh. Well, I probably should get going. Bye Brittany" I say I standing up.

Then I kiss the top of her head and walk out the door.

•Brittany's POV•

Why did Nash kiss my head? He must've just being nice. After all, he kinda feels like a big brother to me now.

I haven't talked to my parents yet about me staying at the condo alone while they go out yet.

I really hope they agree.

Then the doctor came in.

"Ms. Pearce, before we put your arm in a cast, we have to set it. To make it straight. Do you understand?" He says.

"Yes sir, I understand. Will it hurt a lot?" I ask.

"It will hurt for a bit, but it will go away pretty quickly" he replies. "Oh, and what color would you like your cast to be?"

"Do you have blue?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Then blue please" I say.

About thirty minutes later, my arm is set and my blue cast is on.

Yes, the setting part hurt, A LOT, but, like the doctor said, it quickly faded away.

So I decided to leave and see everyone and tell them I could leave the hospital now.

•Hayes' POV•

We waited in the lobby for about a half an hour before the doctor was done with Brittany.

"Brittany!" I yelled as she finally came out.

She walked up to me and gave me an awkward hug since her arm was in a hard, blue cast.

"Ooo can I sign it?" I ask her.

"Hahaha sure" she replies.

"I think I have a sharpie in my purse" her mother says while digging through it.

"Aha! Here it is" she says, handing me the sharpie.

Then I sign my name: Hayes G.❤️

She smiles up at me.

"I wanna sign it too!" Skylynn says.

Soon after that, their's a small line in front of Brittany to sign her cast.

Once everyone signed it, we all got into our cars and headed back to the condos.

"Would you guys like to come over to our place for dinner?" My mom suggests to Mrs. Pearce.

"Yes, that's a wonderful idea!" she replies. "Is that okay with you Chance?" she asks her husband, Brittany's dad.

"That's fine with me" he says.

"Okay, but I need some time to freshen up" Brittany says. "I smell bad."

Everyone laughs.

"Hahaha okay, how about 7:00?" her mom asks. It was 6:15 now so that gave Brittany some time.

"Sounds great. See you all then!" my mom says.

"Bye Brittany, see ya soon" I say, hugging her one again.

"Bye Hayes" she says, giggling.

Then we went our separate ways.

•Brittany's POV•

Okay, so I have forty-five minutes to get ready. In normal circumstances, that's not NEARLY enough time. But, these aren't normal circumstances.

I rushed to take a shower and pick out my outfit.

It wasn't anything fancy, so I went with black leggings, my school's Track & Field sweatshirt, and my galaxy vans.

I don't have time to really to anything with my hair, so I just dried it and put it up and a messy bun.

Then I did my makeup, but on some bracelets and a ring, and I was ready to go.

Doing all of this was also very difficult, because I could only use one arm most of the time.

"Okay I'm ready!" I yell.

It was currently 6:55, perfect timing.

Then we all walk over to room 106 and knock on the door.
