•Brittany's POV•

Hayes was starring at me. It creeped me out a little, but it was also kinda cute.

"You look really pretty" he says smiling.

"Thanks" I reply, blushing.

We just talked for a bit and then our food came.

The burgers were delicious. We both ate every bit.

"Hey, wanna get some ice cream?" I ask.

They had a small ice cream bar at the front of the café.

"Yeah! I'll pay" he says.

"Oh no no no I have money" I reply.

"No, I'm paying."

"Ok, fine" I knew it was no use arguing.

Then we walk up to the counter.

"What would you like ma' lady?" Hayes asks.

"Um, one scoop chocolate and one scoop pumpkin" I say while giggling at Hayes.

"Pumpkin? I've never had that. Is it good?" he asks.

"Pumpkin ice cream is life Hayes" I reply.

He starts laughing and he orders the same as me. Then he pays and we go sit down.

"Mmm pumpkin is good" he says.

"I know right! It's the best."

Then we finished our ice cream and talked some more.

"So are you going snowboarding tomorrow?" Hayes asks.

"Yes. I think we're going to get an early start and then rest. We only have the next day before we have to leave."

"Same here. We should go out together and then hang after" he says.

"Yeah! That would be awesome" I reply.

"Since we're done, and no one else seems to be, do you wanna come back to our place and watch a movie?" Hayes asks.

"That sounds like fun! But how will we get back. Walk?" I reply.

Going and watching a movie with Hayes, by ourselves. I can't believe it. I'm screaming my head off inside.

"Yeah, if that's okay with you. It's not too far" he says.

"Okay. That's fine with me. Mom, can me and Hayes go back to his place and watch a movie?" I ask.

"Yes. That's fine with me" she replies.

"Okay. Let's go!"

The walk back only took about five minutes. Neither of us talked, but it wasn't an awkward. We were just, enjoying each other's company.

About half way through the walk, Hayes reached down and laced his fingers through mine. Then he looked back up at me, smiling.

I could feel my cheeks get warm. Thank god it was dark.

Holding his hand felt good. It felt..right.

•Hayes' POV•

While we were walking back, I took her hand in mine. She looked at me and smiled. She was so cute.

Once we got back to my condo, we took off our coats and shoes. Then we walked over to the couch and sat down.

She sat next to me so our shoulders were touching.

"What should we watch?" I ask as we flipped through channels.

"Ooo Dolphin Tale! I love that one!" she says.

"Haha okay. That's a good one" I reply.

About half way through the movie, Brittany fell asleep.

She was leaning against me with her head on my shoulder. It was adorable.

Our parents still hadn't come back yet and I was getting pretty tired myself.

So I fell asleep beside Brittany.

My life, was perfect.

•Nash's POV•

Hayes and Brittany had left early and headed back to our place.

That made me kinda mad because who knows what they'll do. I mean they're only 13, but still.

I knew I couldn't just barge in on them by myself. So I'll have to wait for everyone else to leave before I can go.

We left about an hour after Hayes, and when we get back, the were snuggled up on the couch asleep.

"Awe" my mother whispered. "Do you want her to just spend the night?" she asked Brittany's parents.

"Yes. I think she would like that. They're so cute" her mother replied

Meanwhile James, her little brother, was trying to control his laughter.

That made me laugh. We made eye contact and then both burst out laughing.

James was pretty cool, even though he was only 10. We were already friends.

Our parents just glared at us, but Hayes and Brittany surprisingly didn't wake up.

Then I went to my room, the Pearce's went back to their place, and Hayes and Brittany stayed on the couch.
