Yay new update! Sorry it took so long, I've been very busy, but it snowed here so I don't have school! I might be able to update again later today (:

•Brittany's POV•

I woke up with Hayes' arms wrapped around me. It felt really good. It made me feel...safe. And after what happened last night, I was still a little creeped out.

I tried to pry myself out of Hayes' grasp without waking him up, but it didn't work.

"Brittany? Why are you up so early?" he asks.

"It's 10:30 dummy" I reply.

"Too early!"

"Whatever Hayes" I say, laughing and getting out of bed.

Today would of been our last day on the slopes, but now that I'm injured, I have to stay home.

"Hayes, I'm going to head back to my place and talk to my parents. I'll be back in about ten minutes" I say.

"Okay, I'll probably be asleep. Just letting you know" he replies.

I laugh, and walk over to our condo.

"Mom, dad, I'm back!" I say, expecting them to come out fully clothed and ready to go skiing.

But they're packing. Why are they packing?

"Mom? What are you doing?" I ask.

"Honey, me and your father decided that we're going to leave today. You can't snowboard and we don't want to leave you here all by yourself."

"Mom I'll be fine! Don't waste all of the money you spent on tickets just because I can't go. You all go and enjoy yourselves. I'm okay with staying here alone. Really."

"Are you sure? I don't know. I'll have to talk to your dad first" she replies.

Them she goes and talks to dad for a few minutes.

"Brittany, you promise you'll be careful?" he says.

"Yes. I swear I'll be careful and behave."

"Okay. Me, mom, and James are going to go out for awhile. We'll be back around 5:00 for dinner. We're going to stay one more night like we planned and leave tomorrow morning with the Grier's" my dad says

"Oh, and here's $150 so you can go shopping or something while we're gone" my mom says.

"Thanks! Now you guys go get ready. I'm going to go back to Hayes' place" I say

"Okay. Call or text me if you need anything" my mom says.

"Mkay, I will. Bye!"

And then I walked back to the Grier's condo and knock on the door.

Mrs. Grier answered.

"Hello Brittany. I think Hayes is still in his room" she says.

"Haha okay thank you."

Then I walk into Hayes room, and sure enough, he's passed out on the bed.

I say his name and shake his shoulders but he won't wake up.

"Hayesss, c'mon, wake up!"

His eyes stay shut.

Then I got an idea.

I start to jump on the bed.

That wakes him up almost instantly.

Once he got up, he grabbed my foot which made me stop jumping.
