We got to school just as lunchtime started and the three of us headed to Info-chan's room. Ayano knocked on her door and the door opened slightly. "What a surprise. Come in." Info-chan said, letting us in. Once we were inside, she closed the door.
"What do you need?" Info-chan asked. "You're someone who knows everything. You even know how to rest something when something's gone wrong." Ayano said. "What's your point?" Info-chan asked, adjusting her glasses.
Yan-kun and I looked at each other before looking back at Info-chan. "We need a device. Something that will restart the week." Ayano explained. Info-chan narrowed her eyes at Ayano before sighing.
"Fine. Wait here," She walked over to her desk and reached into her drawer, pulling out something. "Here." Info-chan said, tossing something over to Ayano. I looked at it as it looked like a tiny remote control with single red button.
"What is it?" Yan-kun asked. "This device will allow you to go back in time, but only resetting the week. But all of you need to be touching it at the same time in for it to work." Info-chan explained.
"So, you're saying if we reset the week, Kokona will be alive?" I asked. "Precisely. However, there may be a few things wrong with the time loop when you go back to the start of the week. Also, you three will be only ones who will remember going back in time." She answered.
"But what about you? Won't you forget, too?" Yan-kun asked. "Yes, but that's what makes it a little exciting. On the bright side, you guys will get a second chance." Info-chan said. "And you're sure this will work?" Ayano asked, examining the device.
"I'm positive because I'm the one who built it." She said. "But you've never tried it out?" Yan-kun asked. "Nope. I was waiting for a special occasion to use it." Info-chan answered. "I can't believe you're seriously helping us." I said, amazed.
"Well, you three are one of my best clients. It would be a shame to lose one of you." Info-chan smirked. "One of your best clients, or your only clients?" Yan-kun said, rolling his eyes. "Ha, ha. Very funny." She said, sarcastically.
"Thanks, Info-chan." Ayano thanked. Me, Ayano, and Yan-kun placed our fingers on the device as Ayano raised her hand over the red button. "Going back to the beginning of the week." She said. Ayano pressed the button and a bright light surrounded. Due to its brightest, I closed my eyes tightly.
(Monday)
When I was able to see again, I slowly opened my eyes to find me, my sister, and my brother standing in front of the school. "Did it work?" I asked. "I don't know." Yan-kun said. "It did. Look." Ayano said, pointing at the students that were coming into school.
My eyes widened slightly when I saw Kokona walking inside the school. "Info-chan was right after all." I said, emotionlessly, but still in shock. "I can't believe that actually worked." Yan-kun said. "Me, too." Ayano said.
Because it worked, that means I didn't break that male delinquents' kendo stick. Thank goodness for that because I forgot to get him a new kendo stick like I said I would. "Okay, Sis. What's Plan B of eliminating a rival?" Yan-kun asked. "I might have an idea." I offered.
