Fifty Four: Amaya's Ending

Amaya's POV

"You were outside the door the whole time, weren't you?" I said as Nemesis-kun lead us out of the school. "Uh-huh." He confirmed. "Why?" I asked.

"I had to make sure he wouldn't hurt you." Nemesis-kun said. Once we were out of the school, we stood right in front of the entrance. "So, what happens now? Now that the game is over, what happens now?" I asked.

"I have to go."

"What?"

"There's no point in seeing each other anymore now that the game is over,"

Nemesis-kun turned around so he was facing me. "This is goodbye, Amaya Aishi. It was a fun game, but it ends here." He said before turning to walk away. "No!" I quickly grabbed his arm. Nemesis-kun glanced back at me and raised a brow.

I blushed slightly at my own actions. "Please don't go." I said. "Is there a reason why you don't want me to leave?" He asked. I didn't respond as I gazed at the ground. "Amaya, tell me the truth. How do you truly feel about me? Before even the game began, how did you feel about me?" He asked.

"To be honest... I was scared when I first met you. But... that fear quickly went away when you held that scalpel to my neck. My fear was replaced with determination, and then my determination was replaced with..." I trailed off as I continued to look at the ground.

Nemesis-kun fully faced me and gently took my hands in his. "Please tell me." He said.

"I... I don't know how to explain it, but... I started feeling... something. Something strong... something I haven't felt before. I guess what I'm trying to say is... Nemesis-kun, I... I..." I tried to spit it out, but I couldn't. I felt so nervous to tell him the truth of how I feel towards him.

"Amaya," I looked up and blushed madly when Nemesis-kun kissed me. "I love you... and you love me, too, don't you." He said as he gazed in my dark eyes.

"Y-Yes... I do love you." I confessed. Nemesis-kun smiled and gently kissed my forehead. "Care for another game?" He asked, smirking. I smirked back.

"Sounds interesting. What kind of game is this one going to be?"

"A love game. Do you think you're up for it?"

"Challenge accepted."

"Perfect."

"What will victor get if they win?"

"You'll see."
