(Tuesday) Amaya's POV
"So, where were you yesterday, Amaya? Your sister and I have been looking everywhere for you." Yan-kun said as he, Ayano, and I walked to the school. "I just had something to do." I answered. Once we got to school, I made my way to my locker to change into my school shoes.
"Amaya!" I turned around and grunted slightly as Hanakõ jumped onto my body, hugging me. "Good morning, Hanakõ." I greeted as he broke the hug. "It's so nice to see you again, Amaya! Here, I wanted to give this to you!"
He handed me an envelope with a piece of candy attached to it. "What's this?" I asked as I took the envelope. "I wanna thank you for the advice you gave me with my sister! We're best friends again thanks to you!" He said, smiling.
"I'm glad I was able to help," Hanakõ smiled at me and I smiled back a small smile. "Excuse me." I said as I walked away.
As I was walked through the courtyard, I heard the rainbow girls talking amongst themselves.
"I can't wait to go to class today!"
"Mr. Rana is going to be teaching today! Can you believe it?"
"You guys are so lucky!"
"I wish I had him as my teacher!"
"He's just so hot!"
I rolled my eyes as I listened. Talk about a group of fangirls.
I need to focus on finding Nemesis-kun... wherever the hell he could be. "Amaya!" I turned around as Hanakõ jumped on me and hugged me again. "Hello again, Hanakõ. What are you doing here? Aren't you usually with you brother and sister?" I asked.
"Yeah, but I decided I wanted to spend time with you!" He said, smiling. "Okay... Anything else?" I asked. "Um, I was wondering... Would you mind eating lunch with me today by at the courtyard?" He asked.
"Sure. Okay." I agreed. "Perfect! Thanks, Amaya!" He said, hugging me again. He broke the hug and walked off, waving to me. "See you later!" Hanakõ called. I waved back as I watched him go. "What was that about?" Osano asked as he stood beside me.
"Hanakõ just invited me to have lunch with him." I said. "Huh... That's a first. He's usually with his siblings during lunch time, but with his sister of course." He mentioned. "Hey, is it true we're going to have Mido Rana as our teacher today?" I asked.
"Yeah, why do you ask?"
"I don't like him."
"Really?"
"You seem surprised."
"Yeah, but all morning, I've been hearing nothing but, "Mr. Rana is so perfect," and stuff like that."
"I know. I've being hearing that, too. Come on, we should head to class."
"Yeah, okay."
Osano and I walked to class together and took our seats. Once all the students were in the classroom, Mido Rana came in the room. When he saw me, he winked at me, making me slam my forehead on the desk.
'I do not need this today.' I thought.
(Lunchtime)
The bell finally rang for lunch and the students began to leave the classroom. When I walked out of the room, I saw Hanakõ waiting for me. "Ready to go?" He asked, smiling at me. "Uh-huh." I nodded and we walked to the courtyard.
We sat on the bench and began to eat our lunch. "Hey, Hanakõ. Can I ask you something?" I asked. "Sure! Ask me anything!" He said. "What do you think of Akademi High School?" I asked. "This school is absolutely amazing! I'm so happy to be here!" Hanakõ cheered.
"Really?" I asked. "Yep! Why, don't you like this school?" He asked. "It's okay. But don't you think this school feels restricting? It kind of feels like a boring school." I mentioned.
"Nonsense!"
Hanakõ quickly grabbed my hands with both hands and stared into my eyes. "If you think this school is boring, then I promise I'll make it a hundred times better for you!" He said. "Hanakõ, you don't have to do that. I was just expressing my opinion." I stated, emotionlessly.
"But I wanna do it! I won't stop until you're happy with Akademi High!" Hanakõ said, smiling at me. I blinked before sighing. "Fine. If that's what you wanna do." I said. "Perfect! I promise I'll make you proud, okay? Thank you for believing in me!" He cheered before hugging my waist as his head rested on his chest.
I didn't know how to respond, so I just gently petted his head. Is it me, or Hanakõ being a little clingy. No, I'm sure he's just trying to be a nice guy. Yeah, that has to be it.
When lunch was over, Hanakõ and I walked back to my classroom. "Thank you for walking me back to class, Hanakõ. But you really didn't have to." I said. "It was no trouble at all! I love spending time with you!" He said, smiling.
"I enjoy spending time with you, too." I said, giving him a slight smile. "Really? That's awesome! I've gotta go now, but I'll talk to you later, okay?" He said. "Sure." I said, giving a nod. Hanakõ smiled again before walking to his own class.
"Talk about clingy." Yan-kun said. "Shut up. He's just trying to be nice." I said. "Sure. Whatever you say." He replied, sarcastically. I rolled my eyes at his comment before walking into class.
