Amaya's POV

The school day finally ended after a long day. As everyone was leaving the classroom, I stayed behind because... well, you know, Mr. Rana asked me to. "Are you ready to begin, Miss Aishi?" Mr. Rana asked. "Yes, sir. But you can call me Amaya." I said.

I took a seat as Mr. Rana sat beside me. I looked over the test and noticed I answered a lot of questions wrong. "Let's work on Question 1." Mr. Rana said. "Yes, sir."

We worked on Question 1 together and I failed to understand what was going on. Like I mentioned before, I didn't study at all. And the sad part is, there was only 10 questions on the test. Man, I suck at tests.

"Now, do you see where you messed up, Amaya? You were supposed to store 3 for X. Understand?" Mr. Rana explained. "I guess so." I replied as we continued to work on the test.

Finally, we were on the last question. I can't wait to get home. "Okay, Amaya. This question may seem a little tough, but it's a lot easier than you think." Mr. Rana said. "How? I don't see how it's so easy." I mentioned.

The question was to determine if the two factors equal each other, and I'm not even sure how to do that. "Here," He took my pencil and began to show me what he meant. "If you cross-multiply the numerator and the denominators, and they both equal the same, then you know that the answer is true." Mr. Rana explained.

"Oh, I see what you mean now. Thank you, Mr. Rana." I said. This question should've been easy. Why didn't I answer it correctly? Probably because I didn't study.

"Now," Mr. Rana took my chin and made me look at him. "If you answer the question correctly, I'll give you a reward." He said, seductively. "Uh..." I took my chin out of his hold and went back to the test.

Following Mr. Rana's advise, I did what he said and cross-multiplied the numbers. "Okay, I think I got it." I informed, showing him my answer. He looked over my answer and smiled. "Well done, Amaya. Are you ready for your reward?" Mr. Rana asked.

"Uh... I guess so." I said. Wasn't the reward just going to be extra credit for staying after school? Mr. Rana gently took my chin in his hand again and pressed his lips against mine. It took me a few seconds to realize what was going on.

I shoved Mr. Rana away from me as my face was completely red. "M-Mr. Rana?! Why did you just... kiss me?!" I asked, standing up from my desk. "I told you, I was going to give you a reward. A tender kiss is your reward." He said, smirking as he stood up.

"But teachers aren't supposed to kiss their students!" I said. "Aren't they?" Mr. Rana said as he began to forward, making me wall backwards until my back was pressed against the door. "I know you liked the kiss just as much as I did." Mr. Rana said as he stood directly in front of me, the smirk not leaving his face.

He placed his hands beside the sides of my head, boxing me in. "I could kiss you again if you'd like." Mr. Rana whispered before leaning forward. Before he could kiss me, I punched him in the face with a frown. I honestly couldn't care less if I got suspended for hitting a teacher.

I don't want him kissing me again. "A punch? How rude, Miss Aishi." Mr. Rana said, rubbing his jaw. I frowned again before walking past him to collect my things, stuffing them into my bag. "Goodbye, sir." I said, then left the room.

As I was walking down the hall to my locker, I noticed the Occult Club doors were cracked open a little. I looked inside the room and noticed everyone in the Occult Room were wearing long, dark cloaks.

"Achoo!" I rubbed under my nose and sighed as everyone in the club looked at me. "I'm sorry for intruding." I apologized. "It's okay, Amaya. We weren't having much luck with summoning a demon, anyway." Supana said as she took the dark hood off her head.

"I'm sorry." I repeated. "We're going to attempt to summon a demon one last time before we go home. Would you like to join us?" Oka offered. "I prefer to watch if that's alright with you." I requested.

"Are you... really interested... in watching our ritual...?" Oko asked. "If you don't mind." I said. "Not at all. I hope it works this time." Oka said. The Occult members resumed their ritual in attempt to summon a demon, but they do not succeed.

"I'm sorry it didn't work." I said. "That's okay. But thank you for staying and watching us. It felt really honored to have someone watch us." Oka said. "I'll see you guys tomorrow. Get home safely." I said, waving to them.

I proceeded to walk down the hall, passing the Cooking Club. I looked inside and noticed Amai was still in there, but nobody else was in there. "Amai? What are you still doing here?" I asked as I walked inside the Cooking Club.

"Hmm?" Amai turned around, but it wasn't Amai. "Oh, I'm sorry. I've mistaken you for someone else." I apologized. "It's okay. People always get me and my sister mixed up." He said, smiling. "Sister? Wait, you're Amai's brother?" I asked, shocked.

"Yes. My name is Amao Odayaka. And you must be Amaya Aishi, right?" He asked. "Yeah... How did you know my name?" I asked. "My little sister talks about you all the time." Amao said with a smile.

"Oh... But what are you still doing here?"

"I was just cleaning up before I went home."

"Oh, that makes sense. And speaking of home, I better get going myself. It was nice meeting you, Amao."

"Likewise." He smiled.

I waved to him and walked down to my locker to change my shoes. But I wasn't expecting to find a note in there. I raised a brow in confusion before taking the note as it read this:

"Amaya, would you mind meeting me near the fountain on the south-side of the school tomorrow, during lunch? I'd really appreciate it if you could come."

Wonder who sent this? I know it can't be from Osano. So, who? I guess I'll find out when I get there. After I put my shoes on, I headed home.
