Monday muthafuckin' morning.
I turned on my side to see my clock. I wish I cou-
"Time to get up Kameryn!"
"Kathleen what the fuck?!" I fell off the bed then stood up quickly. She scared the shit AND pee out of me. I didn't hear her come in or breathe or anything. I hate when people sneak up on me like that.
I have on a long sleeved shirt and pants that are too long, yet I still felt the need to pull my cover over my body for some reason.
"Sorry to startle you sweetie. It's important that you get up right now though."
I looked at the clock.
"Really? It's only almost six in the morning. When does this school open?!"
"Seven. But I have to register you and all of that jazz. I just want to make sure that you are up and ready to go at a quarter 'til."
"A quarter 'til what? Six?"
She did that hysterical laugh that she likes doing. This woman has no idea what sarcasm is.
"No silly. A quarter 'til seven."
"Okay Kathleen."
She left out my room then I went over to my closet. Kathleen went a little crazy with shopping yesterday. I like that she didn't force me to get clothes too far out of my comfort zone though. I mostly have nice jeans and nice shirts. She slipped in a few dresses that I will never wear though. I haven't worn a dress in... months sadly.
I picked out a pair of blue jeans, a black tank top, and a burgundy blazer.
I went into the bathroom to get ready for school. As I came out the bathroom, I simply took my bun down and ran my fingers through my curls. Usually I don't wear curls, but oh well.
I sat on my bed and happily put on my black and gold quilted Michael Kors sneakers. I am not a materialistic girl by any means, but I immediately knew I would get them. Ugh, that's that spoiled shit. It's not cute at all.
I grabbed my watch and earrings, putting them on as I walked out my bedroom.
As I jogged down the stairs, I noticed Trevor and Kathleen talking. I stopped four stairs from the bottom and took a seat.
"Thank you for the coffee Kathy. It tastes amazing."
"You're welcome. But back to what I was saying. I am very worried about Kameryn."
"Wha-" I put my hand over my mouth. I have to be like one of the worst eavesdroppers ever.
"Why Kathy? Is there something you haven't told me? Because you told me that she came here because it was getting difficult for her auntie to raise her."
"That's because those goons who killed Kameryn's father are still around and at large. Kameryn witnessed the whole incident. Of course they want her... the point is that Maxine felt that it would be safer to have Kameryn far away from Georgia. I don't want anything to happen to her."
I'm not surprised that I am a walking target. They ain't the first to want me dead I'm sure. I knew it was a reason for me suddenly having to move here. It's nice to know that my auntie and my mother are concern for me. My respect for Kathleen is progressing.
"Eavesdropping much."
I sprung up when I felt Katherine's flaming hot breath beside me.
"Man bitch you play too muthafuckin' much! And what the fuck you got on?" This chick got on all pink everything. Different shades of pink though.
