Henry got out of the car and opened the door for Katherine and I. I really don't like when he does it in front of all of the people standing out here, but oh well.

I got in first, surprised to see Kathleen.

"Hey Kammie!" She hugged me and kissed my forehead. "How are you doing today? How has school been so far? Are you enjoying it?"

"I'm good. And I got through the whole first week of school without whoopin' some ass, so I'd say fairly decent. No one enjoys school though Kathleen. Just sayin'. So umm, what's up? Off from work early?"

By now Henry had left the school. I'm glad too because Quinetta, the charcoal bitch, and I almost got into a fight this morning. Had Stephanie not pulled me back, I would have demolished her dumb ass. The teacher threatened to write me up for all the cussing I was doing though. I really don't give a shit though. I started to cuss his bitch ass out. The one day his ass actually pays attention to the class would be the day Quinetta felt like she would pop off. I put fear all up and through that bitch's heart though, so hopefully she'll leave me the fuck alone.

"I haven't been feeling that well. I got sick while I was showing a house to two people today. Luckily, though, I was able to sell them the huge lavish house. It's not too far from us."

"Sick as in throw up?"

"Ye-"

I crawled over Katherine's lap so she could be in the middle and I could be by the door. It'll one big ol' puke fest in this bitch if she throws up on me.

"Hey! Mom you better not puke on me!"

"Damn Katherine! You are so inconsiderate! A little slimy lunch won't kill you. I hope you feel better Kathleen. What made you sick? Do you know?"

"I don't know. I haven't ate anything out the ordinary so I d-"

"Wait wait wait, so you eat peanut butter, jelly, and cucumber sandwiches often?!"

I've seen her eat that more than once, and well, that shit looks disgusting!

"It's delicious Kammie. Don't knock it until you've tried it. This is serious girls. I think I might be pregnant."

"Pregnant?! Eww mom! That means you and dad do the nasty! Gross! Kill the visual!"

I turned my head and let out a silent laugh. Katherine's bratty ass can really be amusing when she wants to be. They are a married couple. What does she think they do in the dark? Play 'I Spy'?

Ooo, even though she doesn't look her age, Kathleen is forty five! How could sh- well, she did have Taylor when she was forty. She didn't tell me that but I did the arithmetic. It may not be completely impossible for her to get knocked up five years later. Why would she even want to have any more kids at her age? It is both weird and side hurting hilarious to think about it though. If she is pregnant, when the baby is a teenager she'll be like sixty years old. It would be so embarrassing to have people ask, "Is that your grandma?"

"What has you so tickled Kammie? Pregnancy is no laughing matter." I looked over at Kathleen and Katherine to see them looking at me with their overdrawn eyebrows raised.

I cleared my throat and lightly pat my chest. "Nothing, nothing."

Her best bet would be to actually go to see a doctor though. She might think she's pregnant, but that could easily be something completely different. She could just have a stomach virus or the flu or something. She don't need to put a bun in the oven without making sure that the oven even functions right anymore.

For the rest of the ride home I let them have that conversation. When we got home, the first thing I chose to do was take a shower and put on comfortable clothes. I put on a coral lace camisole and some black pajama pants.
