<Lynn's POV>

Caleb and I sit in the building next to the Erudite compound, waiting for others to return. I pass time by tending to his gun shot wound. Tears slowly and silently stream down my face. Caleb weakly reaches his hand up to my face and brushes them away. "Lynn?" I ignore him and continue to clean the wound. "Lynn, look at me," Caleb insists, grabbing my chin and directing my attention to his chocolate eyes. "What wrong?" My bottom lip begins to quiver.

"Everything Caleb, just everything." Before he can reply I hear a group of people approaching. It sounds as if there are a hundred of them, sprinting towards Erudite, yelling and loading their guns. I stand quickly and peak out the doorway to find I was just about right. There are a hundred of them with guns, and they are sprinting, but they are not just people. Their my people. "Dauntless," I mutter under my breath. Looking back at Caleb, I see him staring back at my confused. A smile forms on my face. "It's Dauntless! They're alive!" I scream as I runout with them. I begin to search everywhere. Waiting a few feet away from the rushing crowd is my sister, Shauna, just watching the Dauntless run freely into Erudite. "Shauna!" I scream trying to get her attention. Her eyes find mine and she runs to join me.

All she says is "Hector," and we begin to search. If all these Dauntless are alive, maybe our little brother is too. With her hand in mine, we run against the current of the crowd, searching for a small boy with curly brown hair. And then I see it. A few feet ahead. A pale skinned boy covered in freckles, falling slightly behind the crowd of much older soldiers. Without saying anything I pull Shauna along, dragging her towards him. People bump into me, nails accidentally scratch my arms, but I push on, desperate to reach him. He sees us now and stops in his tracks. Dropping his gun, he looks up at us as we sprint towards him. "Hector!" I screech above the yells of the crowd around me. "Hector!" I scream again as I fall to my knees in front of him and hug his small frame. My arms pull him tight into me. Shauna's arms wrap around both of us. I sob like never before. The tears just keep pouring out uncontrollably and my body shakes and shudders. "Hector oh my god! Thank god! I love you, I love you so freaking much!" I continue to praise my little brother. Shauna just cries tears of relief as she holds the three of us together.

"Lynn I missed you," Hector mumbles. Shauna and I pull away from him so he can explain.

"How are- how did you all get out of the institute alive?" I ask frantically.

"We had been out all day, we were practicing shooting a few miles away and we were walking back when we saw the Erudite dropping the bombs," Hector explains. I hold my chest.

"Thank god you're okay, we thought- we-"

"We thought we lost you!" Shauna steps in. We start crying again and just huddle together. Finally.

<Tris's POV>

Tori explains to us how everyone is alive as Four and I carry Peter out of the old Erudite compound. Dozens of Dauntless sprint into the building to finish killing off traitors and guilty Erudite. Finally we make it out of the building. I see Caleb standing in the doorway of the building next to the compound. He is watching something. I follow his gaze to find Shauna and Lynn huddling around a young boy. Hector. I smile slightly at the sight. A family reunited.

Tobias and I haul Peter over to Caleb Tori staying back and searching the outskirts of the compound to check for other guards. After placing Peter on the ground, I allow Tobias to inspect his wounds, and I go to Caleb. We embrace in a comforting hug. With everything that we have been through, at least we have each other. "Christina, Will, Marlene, Uriah, and Zeke haven't come out yet," he whispers in my ear.

"The probably don't know that we found Lynn and killed Jeanine already," I explain.

Caleb pulls away from me. "You killed Jeanine?" I nod slowly. Caleb smiles and pulls me in for another hug.

"Peter did actually," I remark quickly, "you mind helping him, I need to talk to Four." Caleb nods and goes to help Peter and hopefully stitch him up with whatever medical equipment we have. I place my hand on Tobias's shoulder. He looks up at me with those ocean eyes and I swoon. "Come on," I mumble. He stands and takes me hand. We walk away from Peter and Caleb so that we have some privacy.

"Tris what's going on?" He asks me worriedly. I smile a little and take his hand in mine.

"One of the first times you spoke to me, you were instructing me how to punch correctly," I place his hand on my lower abdomen, where he placed his hand months ago in training, "you put your hand here, at that point you were just instructing me how to keep a strong core. Now you're hand is on something that is very dear to me, and hopefully to you." Tobias knits his eyebrows together. It takes him a minute, but soon his eyes widen a bit and his mouth forms a small 'o'.

"Beatrice..." he trails off, breathless. "Tris, are you?" I bite my bottom lip and nod my head happily. "Oh my god, we're gonna have a baby." Tears start to form in my eyes and I nod my head quickly. "I love you, I love you so much," Tobias murmurs before he plants a long kiss on my lips. He swings me around gleefully. I giggle as he does so, happy and relieved that my child will grow up in a world without Jeanine. Tobias lowers me back to the ground and holds me in a tight embrace. "Thank you Tris, for coming into my life."

"Thank you Tobias, for fixing my life." We stand like that for what could be hours, days even. Just appreciating each other's existence. I can just barely hear his heart beating against my ear. Thank god for this man. Thank god his heart is still beating.

"Tris?" I pull away from Tobias and find my best friend staring at me a few feet away. She smiles widely, "we did it, we actually did it!" Christina runs to me and slams into my body, hugging me.

"Of course we did, we're dauntless."
