"What do we do?" Marlene asks panic etched all over her face. The sound of crying comes from Christina. We have to think fast before the other straps break. The wind is picking up and Christina is starting to sway. Her long legs no longer supported by the harness.

"We need to get her off the line, but how?" Lynn asks.

None of us can think of an idea.

"Wait what if we strapped someone else into another harness and then that person would grab Christina," Uriah suggests.

"But then how do they get back to the building numbskull?" Lynn comments. Uriah frowns and goes back into a deep thought trance.

"We can tie a rope to the back of the harness so when they get Christina we pull the back," Marlene suggests.

"Great idea, but who would go?" Will asks. At first no one volunteers until I decide now is as good a time as any to act like I did when I volunteered to be the first jumper.

"I'll go," I say bravely. Everyone stares at me wide eyed. It almost bothers me that they are surprised I volunteered. It's not like I am afraid.

"You sure?" Uriah asks. I nod in response. "Okay then." They tie a rope around my waist and then put the harness over it. "Remember pull the break when you are right behind Christina and then grab her. After that we will pull you guys back." I nod to show I understand. Uriah counts down from three and then launches me forward.

Wind flies through my hair and into my eyes. I inch closer and closer to Christina. Right when I am about to hit her I pull the breaks and squeak to a stop. "Okay Chris I am going to pull you back up now. Grab my hand!" I yell to her over the rushing wind. She nods and holds my hand. I pull her up towards me more. I put my thumb up to signal to the others that they can pull us up now.

They get us back up to the roof with no problem. When we get back up Will pulls Christina into a hug and kisses her. I smile at his gesture. He has tears flowing down his face. Uriah takes my harness off and throws it behind me. I tell him I can take the rope off myself. Right when I am about to untie the rope from my waist Lynn accidentally bumps into me. I stumble back and trip over the harness that was on the ground behind me. Next thing I know I am in the air falling down.

I scream. Someone must grab the rope because I jerk to a stop. The rope tightens around my waist and makes me gag. It is dangerously tight. If it stays like that to long it will cut off the blood flow below the rope. The wind starts to pick up rapidly. It makes me swing back and forth. I hit the building head first. Blood trickles off my forehead and my vision goes fuzzy as the wind forces me against the building again. This time my shoulder hits first.

Suddenly someone must be pulling up on the rope because I start to move up. When I reach the top of the building arms enfold around me. I look up to see Tobias looking at me. Holding me close to his chest. I take in his intoxicating scent. Safe at last.

A/N I know pretty sucky quality. I'm sorry it's just a family member of mine passed away and I am struggling but I am trying to update still! Love y'all!
