Chapter Seventeen: Game Time

It is Chrismas Day and me and Chris are going to the Laker game together. I was really excited because this is going to be the first time we go out publicly as a couple. I was also nervous because after the game we are going to his mom’s house for dinner. I met her once a few years ago and she was really nice but I don’t know how she’ll act towards me now that me and Chris are together. I put all my negative thoughts in the back of my head as me and Chris pulled up to the stadium.

“You ready?” Chris asked after he parked the car.

"Yep let’s go." I held Chris hand as we walked into the stadium together. I felt like everyone was watching us as we took our seats on the floor.

"Do you want anything from the consession stand?" Chris asked.

"I want a beer and some popcorn."

"Alright, I’ll be back." When Chris left I decided to go to the bathroom before the game started. After I did my business and went to the sink to wash my hands a girl came out of a stall.

"Hi." the girl said as she started washing her hands in the sink next to mine.

"Hey."

"I’m Seiko."

"Hey Seiko, If you want an autograph or picture we need to make it quick. The game is about to start." I said, drying my hands off with a paper towel.

"No, I just want to talk to you real quick."

"Okay…"

"I’m a friend of Karrueche’s and-"

"Woah you can stop right there. I don’t want to hear anything about that bitch."

"That bitch is my girlfriend!" Seiko said.Since when was Karrueche a lesbian?

"What does she want?" I was getting frustrated. This bitch needs to skip me with the drama.

"Like I was saying I am a friend of Karrueche and I was there when she was crying over Chris because of you."

"It’s not my fault Chris wanted to be with me more than her."

"All I have to say is if he did that to her, he can do that to you too. Once a cheater, always a cheater."

"Chris isn’t going anywhere, trust me. Now go back to your little lesbian relationship and stay out of mine." I said before I left the restroom and went back to my seat. I can’t believe that bitch tried to talk shit about my relationship. I rolled my eyed just as Chris came back with my drink and popcorn. He also had a basket of chicken strips for himself.

"What’s wrong?"

"Nothing. Give me my drink."

"Here." Chris handed me my beer and I took a big gulp of it. "Slow down."

"I’m good Chris."

"Alright, just know that you're not getting another drink after you finish that one."

"Why?"

"I don’t want you to be drunk when we go over Mama’s house later."

"Please, I need a couple of these to get drunk."

"Robyn."

"Fine. I’ll only have one beer but you owe me a blunt later." The game started and I sat back and watched. The first quarter flew by and it was going pretty good. I took a hand full of popcorn and stuffed it in my mouth.
