Robyn

All along it was a fever

A cold sweat hot-headed believer

I threw my hands in the air, said, “Show me something,”

He said, “If you dare, come a little closer.”

Round and around and around and around we go

Oh now, tell me now, tell me now, tell me now you know.

Not really sure how to feel about it.

Something in the way you move

Makes me feel like I can’t live without you.

It takes me all the way.

I want you to stay

It’s not much of a life you’re living

It’s not just something you take–it’s given

Round and around and around and around we go

Oh now, tell me now, tell me now, tell me now you know.

Not really sure how to feel about it.

Something in the way you move

Makes me feel like I can’t live without you.

It takes me all the way.

I want you to stay.

Ooh, ooh, ooh, the reason I hold on

Ooh, ooh, ooh, ‘cause I need this hole gone

Funny you’re the broken one but I’m the only one who needed saving

‘Cause when you never see the light it’s hard to know which one of us is caving.

Not really sure how to feel about it.

Something in the way you move

Makes me feel like I can’t live without you.

It takes me all the way.

I want you to stay, stay.

I want you to stay, oh.

"That’s a wrap!" Jen yelled when I finished singing. Mikky Ekko couldn’t make it to the rehearsal but he assured me that we would be able to go over the song together at least once before we performed Sunday.

"You did great Robz." Melissa said as I walked off stage. "You are gonna kill it Sunday."

"Of course she is." Chris said, handing me a dozen roses and kissing me on the cheek. Melissa looked shocked to see him. I guess she didn’t think we would make up this quickly.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Chris.

"I had to come see what my baby was up to so I came out here to watch you rehearse."

"Do you want to come look at dresses with us?"

"No thanks, that’s not my thing."

"Come on Chris." I begged.

"Naw, I got some business I need to take care of."

"Can’t it wait?"

"I have to do this today."

"Fine, it’ll just be me and Mel then."

"What do you have to do anyway?" Mel asked.

"It’s a surprise."
