Later that night

Chris

"Gran Gran was the best Chris. She always gave the best advice and was always there when you needed her." Robyn said. After the party she and I went to her room and got ready for bed. Right now she was laying on my chest telling me about the good times she had with her grandma.

"I loved her with all my heart. I wanted to give her the world and then some. When I was little I wanted to buy her a Cartier ring but I never had enough money. The last birthday I had with her I got both of us matching Cartier rings. She was so happy. After she died I would always look down at my ring and I'd feel like she was right there beside me."

"Do you still have the ring?"

"No. I think I lost it when I was on tour or something. I'm hoping it's in the house somewhere but I'm pretty sure it's long gone."

"You know you never find what you're looking for when you need it. It's probably somewhere crazy. It'll show up soon."

"Yeah maybe. I just wish she was still here. I know she would really like you."

"How do you know that?"

"Cuz I do. She was always good at reading people so I know she would see the good in you instead of judging you based on the stuff she heard in the news."

"Maybe if she was here she could get your dad off my back."

"I doubt it. My dad doesn't listen to anyone and he'll never admit when he's wrong. Gran would fuss at him for talking to you the way he does but he wont stop."

"I'm sorry Robyn but I don't think I can keep letting your dad treat me like shit."

"Please don't go off on him. That'll just make things worse."

"What do you expect me to do? I've been ignoring him, he said he was going to give me a chance but he's still being an asshole. I have no choice but to put him in his place."

"You don't have to worry about that right now because we're leaving tomorrow and we won't even see him. Now can we talk about something else please?"

"Alright fine. Can you believe we're gonna be parents in three months?"

"I'm still in shock. These months have flew by. It seems like yesterday we just found out I was pregnant and now our baby is kicking. Next thing you know I'm gonna be giving birth."

"I know. You're gonna be pushing, screaming, and raising hell."

"Shut up. No I'm not. You're the one who is going to faint as soon as you see the baby's head."

"You must have me confused with someone else. Ima be fine. Shit I might deliver the baby myself."

"In your dreams. I don't trust you enough to do that. You might fuck around and drop my little F.B." Robyn and I haven't decided on a name for the baby yet so we call the baby the initials of our last name. We can't agree on a first name but we both agreed that the baby should have both of our last names since we're not married.

"You know we really need to come up with a name for the baby unless you want her name to be F.B."

"If you would let me name her instead of making up dumbass names she would have a name."

"Dumb ass names? What's wrong with Mary? It's in the bible!"

"It's old and I'm not naming my child that."

"Mary is better than Ryder. You trying to give my daughter a stripper name."

"Ryder is not a stripper name and it was just a suggestion."
