Chapter Eighteen pt.2: New Years

Tonight is the big night. Melissa and Mijo are going to have their first date and hopefully there will be many more to come. I was looking forward to them hitting it off but I still couldn’t get over the fact that I’m leaving Chris behind to go on my tour tomorrow. I am going to miss his terribly but at least I have Melissa to keep me company. Speaking of Melissa, I just finished her make up and she looks amazing. She had on all black and was werkin it.

"You ready to go?"

"I guess so."

"Are you excited?"

"For what?"

'Girl, stop acting like you're not hype that you're going on a date.”

"I might be a tiny bit excited."

"Just a tiny bit?"

"Okay, I am very excited. I can’t believe he asked me out…well had you ask me out for him."

"I can’t believe it either. Let’s go. You don’t want to keep Mijo waiting."

"I’m sure he won’t mind me being fashionably late."

"Come on bitch."

30 minutes later

When me and Melissa got to the club, we looked everywhere for Chris and Mijo and we couldn’t find them anywhere.

"Maybe he’s not coming." Melissa said.

"No, he probably got stuck in traffic." Melissa sighed and I called Chris to find out what was taking him and Mijo so long to get here but he didn’t answer. I looked at Melissa and she looked nervous as hell.

"Let’s just walk around and see who’s here." Melissa nodded and followed me around the VIP section.

"Hey Rih!" Katy called when she saw me.

"Hey bitch. You look good." I said to her.

"I always look good."

"If you say so."

"Where is your new boo? I saw y’all on Instagram. You guys are so cute."

"He’s on his way."

"I’m gonna go to the bathroom." Melissa said before she walked off.

"So you ready to go on tour?"

"Yes and no. Yes because I want to perform and see my fans and no because I don’t want to leave Chris."

"Aww babe it’ll be alright. Seven weeks will be over in no time."

"I hope so."

"If it doesn’t at least you two can have Skype sex."

"Oh my god Katy!"

"It’s just a suggestion, but seriously face time is going to be your best friend."

"I’ll see you around Katy. Thanks for coming."

"You know I had to see my hoe before she left." She hugged me and said "Good luck."

"Thanks." She walked away and I looked around for Melissa. She should be back from the bathroom by now, I thought to myself. Before I went to the bathroom to look for Melissa, I looked around the club to see if she ran into Mijo on her way back the bathroom. I looked around for a few minutes until I bumped into someone.

"Excuse me." the person said.

"What are you doing here?"
