Chapter Twenty-seven

Robyn had been gone for five days and I was still trying to figure out if I was going to Hawaii or not. It may seem like an easy decision for anyone else to make but I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I don't wanna hurt Robyn by not going to her party but I don't wanna hurt Karrueche by not showing up to the meeting either. If I don't come to Robyn's party she'll be disappointed but I can catch a flight to Hawaii after the meeting and be there the next day. If I don't go to the meeting with Karrueche I'll mess up her one in a life time opportunity to start her clothing line. Either way someone is gonna end up unhappy. I was dialing Robyn's number when Mijo's number and picture popped up on the screen. I answered it and said "Hey Mijo. What's up?"

"I'm on my way to the airport."

"We were suppose to leave tomorrow at 7."

"I know but I did some research and I found out that the plane ride to Mexico from L.A is only three hours. I figured I'd fly out to Mexico and watch Robyn perform before I flew to Hawaii with them."

"Damn, you just gonna leave me hanging like that?"

"I'm sorry man. I thought you'd be too busy to come with me. I thought you were gonna be in the studio today."

"It's cool and I was in the studio for a little bit. I'm working on this song called 'Fine China'."

"Oh lord. You gonna have girls thinking they fine china when they looking like paper plates."

"You crazy."

"I'm serious. You know it's true."

"What made you wanna fly to Mexico?"

"I wanted to see Robz perform."

"And you miss your Bajan."

"Yeah, that too."

"You really like her huh?"

"Melissa's not like any other girl I've been with. She didn't just give it up like that, I had to work for it."

"She gave you some?"

"On Valentines Day. It was amazing. We weren't just having sex we were making love."

"Man she done turned you into her little bitch!" I joked, laughing loudly.

"Shut the fuck up!"

"I don't blame you. Bajan cooch does that to a man."

"What time will you get to Hawaii tomorrow?"

"I don't know if I'll be able to make it."

"Why not?"

"I have to go to a meeting tomorrow morning."

"What time?"

"Ten I think."

"You can still make it. Look up how long the flight is from L.A to Hawaii."

"I'll still be late and Robyn's gonna be pissed at me."

"Then cancel the meeting and reschedule it."

"I can't."

"Yes you can. Just tell whoever you're meeting with you have plans."

"I can't Mijo especially not the day before the meeting. Something has to be seriously wrong for me to do that."

"I guess you'll just have to be late then. I think Robyn would be more upset if you didn't show up at all."
