"Does he really have to be here?"

Jamie arched a brow at Jackson as he nodded towards Haihefa. The giant Beast had to crouch low just to make it inside the Ark but he refused to leave Jamie's side. And she wasn't comfortable without him yet.

She hissed lightly when Jackson finished stitching up her shoulder wounds but never did answer his question. There was an iv in one arm, rehydrating her, and another stuck in her other arm for a blood transfusion. "We were lucky we had your blood type on hand, it's the rarest type you know. It's actually a donation from Jasper... not that he knows he gave it." Jackson attempted to make conversation once again but Octavia held up a hand to silence him.

"Not now Jackson. Just give her some time to readjust. This must all be extremely overwhelming right now considering we have no idea what happened out there." Octavia turned towards Jamie, narrowing her eyes at the silent blonde.

"You can tell me anything Jay." Her tone came out much harsher than she intended and her features instantly hardened when Jamie's eyes narrowed.

Jamie nodded sharply at the younger girl, wincing as Jackson taped some gauze over one of the wounds on her arm.

Jackson worked quietly and his movements were very stiff as he concentrated on not hurting her any worse than she already was. For the first time since he'd met the blonde, he was actually frightened of her. She changed so much since she'd been taken and he could only imagine what she went through.

Octavia moved just behind Jamie nervously, one of the only other ones allowed to be in the room with them.

Lincoln leaned against the wall by Haihefa, eyes glued to Jamie. He couldn't believe how drastically different she looked. Her pale and sunken skin made her appear much older than she was. Her bones were so prominent now that he could only assume it'd been days since she was last fed. The tint of her skin was already improving, thanks to the ivs in her arms. Something in her eyes had changed though, he could see it. The hostility wasn't something he'd expected, especially since she could barely walk on her own. His head dropped against the wall but his eyes remained on her. He was anxious to see how she'd react to Bellamy.

Lincoln voluntarily retreated from the room when he heard Abby outside and noticed how much Jamie tensed up at just hearing her voice. He stepped into the hall to hear Kane on the other end of the radio say, "we're on our way."

Abby hadn't noticed Lincoln there as she replied, "Marcus, she's different now."

"Different how?" Kane glanced up at Bellamy, flinching slightly when he met the boy's fiery gaze. Bellamy's leg bounced in anticipation, eager to reunite with Jamie. Thousands of thoughts went through his mind as Monty ran the rover hard to get back to Arkadia.

"She's..." Abby choked back a sob before continuing. "She's quiet. Octavia and Lincoln are the only ones she's actually talked to and she hasn't said anything in English. Haihefa won't leave her side or let anyone close to her. And she uh...wants nothing to do with me."

Lincoln shifted closer, watching how Abby's body trembled and she had to use the wall to support herself. He knew Abby cared about Jamie but hadn't witnessed anything to support that yet. Lincoln hadn't even known Clarke and Jamie weren't really sisters until a late-night talk with Bellamy.
