The gates slowly opened as Jamie approached. The silent night around them created an ominous mood in Arkadia. She slowly slid off Haihefa's back, looking around them as she helped pull Jasper down. "Where is everyone?" She wondered out loud.

"No idea." Jasper sighed, draping an arm around her shoulders.

They both turned when Kane came rushing towards them calling Jamie's name. He was nearly out of breath by the time he reached them.

"Enjoy the fight?" The blonde asked sarcastically.

Kane shook his head, glancing around before he started talking. "Pike is leading a rebellion and I'm pretty sure he will win. They want him to be chancellor." His words were rushed as if he feared being overheard.

Jamie's eyes widened in surprise. "Farm Station?"

Kane nodded, still breathless. He briefly hesitated, dreading her reaction. "And Bellamy."

"Uh oh." Jasper dropped his arm from her and slowly started backing away.

Kane barely spared the boy a glance as he leaned closer to Jamie. "Pike plans on taking a group out to kill the army Lexa sent to protect us. He will start a war. Everything we've done to honor the treaty will have been for nothing." He pulled his sleeve up to reveal the new brand he received. "They made us the thirteenth clan."

Jamie studied him as he spoke, her anxiety caused her hands to start trembling as he continued.

"Bellamy plans on going with him. Jamie, this is-"

"A mistake." She interrupted. "We can't let them touch that army."

"At the moment they're contained." He took a steady breath before adding, "imprisoned." He stepped closer to her and looked over his shoulder again. "We have to warn the army."

Jamie replied before she realized it. "Take me to Bellamy." Her features hardened as she pictured him locked up. Again.

"Jamie-"

Haihefa growled and shadowed her as she stepped closer to Kane. Her rigid posture made her seem much taller than she really was. "I talk to Bellamy now or I let them all out to slaughter that army."

The breath left him as he watched the sudden fierceness flare in her eyes. He had nothing to say. Kane turned slowly and headed towards the room Pike and his men were locked in. Jamie walked around him, smiling as her eyes met Bellamy's. Her eyes widened as she noticed the large bars holding everyone inside like a giant prison cell. She closed the distance to the bars and grasped Bellamy's hands tightly. "Are you okay?"

He nodded, brown orbs glancing down her body to make sure she wasn't hurt. "Kane won't let us out. He said there's gonna be a vote and if Pike wins..." He shrugged and met her heated gaze. She'd always hated guards and it caused her physical pain to see him locked up but she knew he was on the wrong side of things this time.

"Bell, you can't go after that army."

His brow furrowed and color flooded his cheeks. "I thought you of all people would understand why we have to."
