Bellamy's legs swung over the edge of the Ark as his eyes roamed the trees. While others thought he was wasting his time waiting for her, he knew she'd eventually find her way home. He was sure of it.

For the most part everyone in Arkadia thought she left. That she abandoned all responsibilities inside the gate and took off after Clarke.

He knew better. He knew after everything that she'd done to bring Monty and Jasper back, there was no way she'd just leave. Especially since the first month back proved how vital she was in the boy's lives.

He sighed as his eyes landed on the lone person awake aside from himself and he watched the person stumbling around, still in a drunken stupor. Jasper held the bottle in one hand while the other clinched on tightly to the jacket that barely lay draped over his arm.

Bellamy's eyes studied the jacket that had become so much more familiar to him after he gave it to her. The jacket he hadn't ever cared about until it became hers. And now, after her disappearance, Jasper heavily relied on it as if it were a floatation device that would save his life.

He pulled his gaze away from the jacket and Jasper to watch the sun rise as he did every morning. After the first night when he discovered that she was missing, this became a routine for him. He would attempt to sleep an hour or so, reliving similar nightmares every night, before finally giving up on sleep and returning to the spot on top of the Ark where her and Finn once sat. The spot that had quickly become hers when they returned from Mount Weather. He would watch the woods and anything his eyes could see, desperately hoping to see a glimpse of blonde hair, but he'd always leave heart broken and disappointed.

He spent the majority of every day searching for her with those that knew she wouldn't just leave them. Monty, Octavia, Lincoln, Raven, and Kane would always get a group together to try to find her while Bellamy struggled to get Jasper to go. He'd only been successful in dragging the boy along twice so far but he still tried every day. Every time he left Jasper behind he'd convince himself that Jasper was safer behind the gate and maybe she'd come home when they were gone.

The sun crested over the mountain line, causing bright rays to coat the top of the Ark and he quickly moved to shield his eyes. One hand shielded him from the morning sun while the other held her necklace tightly, his own lifeline. He found the necklace at the foot of their shared bed the night she went missing and that was the moment he knew something was wrong.

He shook his head, trying his best to shake the memory of that night.

Bellamy's brows furrowed when he realized their room was empty. She was typically back before him. He shrugged, assuming she had a harder time helping Jasper than other nights and made his way to the bed. He yelped when his bare foot stepped on something pointy and he quickly leaned over to pick up the culprit. His eyes widened when he picked up Jamie's necklace, knowing how much she now cherished it.

He wasted no time pulling his boots back on and sprinted from the room, eyes still frantically searching for her as he ran. He skidded to a stop when he spotted Jasper sitting alone in the break area. "Jasper!" Bellamy ran to the boy, now breathless, and his eyes pleaded with the smaller boy to sober up. "Where's Jamie?"

Jasper's blurred vision focused at hearing the question. "She's not with you?"

"When's the last time you saw her?" Bellamy replied, neglecting Jasper's question.
