"You guys are so cute together! I'd die if I don't get an invite to your wedding some day." Cami, one of Isabella's friends gushed out as she couldn't tear her eyes away from us. We were currently on our date to some new art gallery and of all days Camila decided to suddenly show up."Of course we'd invite you Cami! You and the rest of the girls will obviously be there as my brides maids, my entire family and friends will take up most of the space, lord! it'll be the wedding of the century! Right baby?" Bella looked at me with a warm smile with her fingers interlacing mine.
"Of course. Anything you want, always." I lean in and kiss her briefly.
"What about you Micah? Is your ghost town family gonna attend the biggest day of your life?" Cami teased setting me off as Bella gave my hand a tight squeeze in order to calm me down.
"Stop it Cami, you know that's a no-go subject. " Cami rolls her eyes to Bella's warning.
"Excuse me." I say as I stand up to visit the rest room.
I ran a hand through my hair looking at the mirror right above the basin making sure it wasn't how bella didn't like it and straightened my jacket. I washed my face and patted it dry with a paper towel and walked back to Bella and her friend.
"I don't know why your still with him. Brian's been dying to get you, so has Hugh ever since freshman year but you had to choose charming old Micah." I heard Cami say. The pair stood right in front of me inspecting a painting, completely oblivious that I was just an earshot away.
"How many times do I have to tell you I'm not interested in either of them and that Im in love with Micah? Brian and Hugh don't even have directions in their lives and no plans for the future." Bella joked before Cami's phone buzzed.
"Says the girl who's dating a guy who just sold his company." Cami rolled her eyes as she texted away on her phone.
"He's investing in something big, I know it." She waved a dismissive hand towards her friend.
"Of course he is..." Cami mumbled before I finally stepped in.
"What are we talking about?" I say casually, ignoring the bitch next to my girl.
"Nothing, just this painting."

"So this thing isn't about slavery or some shit right? Like you feel sorry for me or what ever the fuck it was that you were thinking. Cuz if it's a race thing-"
"It's not a race thing." I silence her and stared, dumbfounded about how violently stern she appeared and took a sip out of my coffee. Im going to need more than enough energy if I plan on working with this woman.
"Then what was so captivating about me that you couldn't not base your book on me?" she asked as she stared at the different people that crowded the coffee shop.
"Why did you change your mind?" I ignore her question desperately wondering why she reconsidered my offer but instead got one of her famous glares in return.
"I was only teasing. I needed the cash and I have nothing else to do during my spare time so if helping to write a book about my self gets me some profit then why not?" she answered sharply.
