She was perfect. Mind, body and soul. Simple words could never explain what Isabella did to me.

Her beautiful smile. God the way she looked at me...

Or how smooth her skin is, so soft especially when we're pressed upon each other bare

Or how smooth her skin is, so soft especially when we're pressed upon each other bare.

For years she loved me with all her heart and I the same.

"Micah." She said. My name sounding like honey as it fell from her lips.

We were seated at our favorite café with a perfect view of the lake right next to the building.

"Yes?" I say.

"I really appreciate you meeting me here today. I know you're so busy."  She gives me a small smile.

"You know I'd do anything for you Bella." I held her hands in mine.

"I know that Micah... But it doesn't feel like it." She keeps her head down.

"What do you mean babe?" I slowly tilted her head up with one of my fingers making her eyes meet mine.

"I called you here because... I don't think I can do this anymore." She finally said.

I furrowed my eyebrows trying to understand what she meant.

"Oh God I should have known! We should stop coming here cause of the new menu. As soon as they replaced your favorite vanilla shake to that revolting peach one you'd be tired of this place. We'll just head to that bistro downtown or we could just skip that and go to the movies inste-" I got cut off by Bella silencing me.

"We can't keep seeing each other Micah, ever." She said in a sigh.

The grip I had on her hands got tighter as I tried to brush off the sting I felt deep in my chest. The room seemed to freeze, it felt as though it was just my lifeless body and Isabella in the cafe.

"Tell me this situation isn't what it looks like Bella." I whispered hoping she'd use the famous excuse. She released her hands from the tight cage it was in when she noticed how hard my grip had become.

"I can't be with you anymore Micah."
She ignored my question.

"Why?" I managed to say. Trying to sound unaffected by the fact that the one and only love of my life was leaving me.

We should have gone to the bistro.

"A lot of reasons. I mean, look at you, you never do anything for us. Ever since you quit your job and sold the company it's always been about that book of yours. You're running low on money because you invest so much in it, and pretty much your whole life. You don't meet up with our friends anymore and I can't be with someone who's anti social and can't meet up with my financial needs. Oh and don't get me started on when we're together! You never shut up Micah! It's suffocating."  She let out a huge sigh.
