"Gemma, I can't thank you enough for letting me stay here and for being so understanding."
"No problem, what's family for?"
Family.
"Where will I be staying?" I ask.
"Oh you can stay in my room."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah yeah, it's fine. It's either my room or the basement."
"I think I'll go set my stuff in your room," I say making my way upstairs.
"Alright, I'm going to take a nap just shake me if you need anything."
Gemma's room is very neat, everything is in it's place so finding out where to put my things is a bit difficult. I figure I'll be sleeping on the pull out couch so I set my blankets on it along with my pillow. After I get settled in her room I take it upon myself to find out where everything is. The master bedroom is down the hall from her room, the bathroom right next to her room in front of the staircase, and Harry's room is on the other side of the staircase.
I can't help myself so I take a peak in his room, it's small, fairly neat, but not nearly as well kept as Gemma's but very neat compared to most boys his age.
I sit on the pull out couch and play games on my phone as I wait for Ms. Anne to come home from work and Harry to come home from school.
I hear laughter from downstairs, it's Travis. Travis and Harry. I make my way downstairs to see what they're doing.
"Hold on, let me record it," I hear Travis say.
"Hurry up, before she wakes," says Harry.
I reach the bottom step and look over the rail into the living room. Harry holds a can of whipped cream in one hand and the other is filled with it and just as he's about to put it on Gemma's face with Travis' camera standing close by I speak up.
"What's going on here? What are you doing?"
"Hey, Natalia," says Travis, clearly shocked.
"What are you doing here?" asks Harry.
"After your party I got kicked out of Hammond. Curfew violation. So now I'm staying here, until the end of the semester."
"Wait, you're staying here?" He sets the can of whipped cream on the coffee table and wipes his hand on a paper towel.
"Well, Natalia, welcome to the house of fun," he winks.
Natalia? He's forgotten. Damn that intoxication. He's forgotten who I am.
