Only Forever-Stony Stark

Chapter 2

Third Person POV:

A few days after the meeting Steve couldn't stop thinking about Tony and his daughter. How couldn't he have known that he would start a family with Pepper? He felt like he needed to speak to him about it to set their feelings out in the open. It was the only way he could marry Sharon. Now that he saw him once again he recountered himself with the feelings he once felt for him, no, he realized that he had never stopped loving him not even after meeting Sharon. There was still something there, a spark or flame so to say that hasn't extinguished. Steve was so caught up in his thoughts he didn't look where he was going when he bumped into someone, he quickly glanced up apologizing when he saw Tony standing before him. 

The super soldier smiled "Hi Tony"the brunette stared at him for a second not knowing what to tell him. What could he say to the one person he once loved, who had betrayed him yet he couldn't stop loving him. Steve laughed nodding his head "How are you?", "Daddy who's this?"he suddenly heard his daughter speak, Steve looked down at her and smiled kneeling down to her level "Hi princess,I am Steve I'm a friend of your dad.And you are?"Aurora opened her mouth to reply about to say her name but Tony stopped her before she could say a word. He pushed her behind him 

"We gotta get going"the brunette didn't let him say anything walking out of the cafe before he could stop them.Steve watched them walk away his daughter looked a lot like Tony but he felt like she had also some resemblance to him, he shook his head thinking he was just tired. She must be Pepper and Tony's daughter no doubt, he already made his life and it was time he made his.He got his coffee walking out of the cafe and made his way home, yet he still couldn't stop thinking about Tony specially about his daughter.He sighed thinking what it would have been like if this fight between them hadn't broke them apart, if that little girl was his and Tony's but she wasn't. 

The super soldier had to find a way to get him out of his head, as he got home he stopped dead in his tracks staring at the small cottage house. He turned on his heals making his way to the one familiar place he knew by heart, once there he now stared up at the Stark tower. How did he end up here again?He kept asking himself that question, but he didn't have the answer. The super soldier sighed walking up to the front door, he stopped himself before he could even knock on the door but he ended up ringing it anyways. 

After a few seconds the front door open, it was Tony's daughter she stared up at Steve and smiled "Oh it's you again hi!"Steve chuckled nodding his head.Behind her he could see that nothing much had changed since the last time that he was here and he was glad that it stayed the same "Hi is your mommy or daddy home?"Aurora glared at him confused, thankfully Tony was just walking up the stairs that led down to his lab and heard him asking her about her mom. The brunette practically ran up to her "Ok peanut why don't you go and play"Ari glanced from her daddy to Steve still utterly confused on to what was going on 

"Daddy is he your boyfriend?"the brunette stared at Steve in complete dismay, the super soldier laughed looking down at his hands. And Aurora was still waiting for a reply "No sweetheart, now go play"Ari still stood between them not moving "Aurora Maria go!"she nodded her head quickly going to her room.There was a few minutes of silence it was as if they were trying to find the right words to say to one another.It felt like years since they last spoken even though it had only been about fifteen minutes.Steve finally cleared his throat "You named her after your mother"the super soldier commented he wanted to be surprised but he wasn't. 

He knew how much Tony loved his parents even after the tough childhood that he had gone through; he nevertheless loved his mother very much, and of course his father too. The mechanic didn't seem to acknowledge his comment as he crossed his arms across his chest staring at the super soldier not very much amused by his sudden visit. "What is it that you want Rogers?To my understanding you have a partner Peggy was it?Oh that's right since that didn't work out now you're after the granddaughter"Steve sighed rolling his eyes at his sarcasm "It's Sharon and she's Peggy's niece this has nothing to do with her"he replied with a very serious look on his face.

Tony whispered a low whatever moving away from the door and making his way to his bar. Surprisedly there was zero alcohol instead they were all replaced with all different sorts of gadgets and parts that made up the Iron Man suit.He reached down behind the island and took out an alcohol beverage, it seemed as if it was under lock down probably so his daughter wouldn't drink it by accident not knowing what it was. He took out a glass putting it down on the countertop "Drink?" he offered him, the super soldier declined shaking his head "So what was it that you wanted to speak about?" 

He poured himself a drink then put the bottle back where it was and locked it again. Steve took a seat on a stool relief that he was willing to hear him out, this would be the first proper conversation that they would have after their fight. The last thing that Steve wanted was to lose Tony once again, now that he had encounter with him he wasn't going to let that happen "I just wanted us to talk, you know like before" Tony set his cup down nodding his head as he began to stutter through his words "And what do you want to talk about?"he whispered leaning on to the counter. Steve shrugged his shoulders as he did the same "About you...me...us"the super soldier whispered back leaning in slowly as well just as their lips were inches apart they were interrupted 

"Hi daddy, hi Steve" they both heard Aurora yelled, they both pulled back while Tony scratched his neck nervously, and the super soldier looked down at his hands then back at Aurora "Daddy I thought you said he wasn't your boyfriend"Tony glanced up at his daughter giving her a fake smile "We're just friends.Isn't that right Rogers?"the super soldier hesitated for a moment but then shook his head. Steve got up from the stool fixing his shirt trying to occupy himself in something else that wasn't Aurora's stare between them both. She didn't believe them one bit "Anyways"Steve continued clearing his throat directing his stare back at Tony "I'm engaged, soon to be married"Tony seemed astonished he did not think his relationship with Sharon was that serious. "Well congratulations...?"it came out more as a question rather than a genuine happy expression, and Steve was not very amused.
