"The battle of custody rights of a minor between Steven Grant Rogers and Anthony Edward Stark. All parties have been sworn in and may be seated. "

Judge Raymond has been in this field for years. Convicted hundreds of unlawful people. Yet, being called in to Judge a custody battle for Anthony Stark well that was a shock and it was hard to deny his curious husband from getting the details.

"The Accuser shall begin"

Steve stood up and began making his case. "Your honor I believe that as a parent I should have authority to visit my child and have my child live with me and out of unsafe conditions like she can in the hands of the defender. "

"What are these unsafe conditions"

"First of all he is a drunk, he can't control his drinking and goes through episodes of depression."

"Objections!" Tony shouted

"On what grounds"

"on the grounds that he is telling lies"

"So you deny excessive drinking"

Tony stayed quiet and hung his head. "No your honor"

"Then since no further Interruptions , Please continue Mr Rogers"

"Thank you your honor, Mr Stark has as well with held my parental rights in being a parent"

"Do you deny these claims Mr Stark"

"....No your honor "

"now it's time for the defendant to present his case"

Tony rose and began his testimony.

"Your honor I believe that Mr Rogers should not be allowed custody over my child because he wasn't there for her"

"I didn't know she was mine or even existed till recently " Steve outburst

"Stand down Mr Rogers"

Steve sat down quickly like the solider he is.

"Why didn't you allow Mr Rogers his right to be a parent to the child. "

Tony stayed quiet for awhile before speaking.

"Your honor at the time Mr Rogers and I were at difficult terms so my deduction to keep the child a secret was most logical in my state of mind at the time"

"State of Mind, Mr Stark,that does not give in the right to withhold ones parental rights from a parent whom has also never been informed of said child until of later date, a far later date.

Tony's head hung low as he thought over stuff

The court dragged on until noon when the jury said they needed more time to reach a verdict and rescheduled for the next day.

Tony laid in the hotel bed twisting and turning. Sweat beads dripped down his forehead and hands gripping the sheets.

"Well I am dead what do you expect" Howard Stark said placing his glasses down on the dark brown wooden desk.

"I never thought death would make you less of an asshole"

"I came all this way to give you an enlightenment not get yelled at by an emotionally unstable 40 year old"

"And whose fault is that"
"I am trying to stop you from turning out wrong"
"And what is wrong to you"
"You ,turning out like me"

Tony silenced as he looked at his father.

"I wasn't the best father , heck I could be considered the worst but that is something I don't want you to become." Howard refilled his glass. "A sad old drunken dead guy who died in hate."

"Why come now?"
"You have always been a greedy boy Tony, ever since you were a little boy always wanting more and more and hogging it to your self and now you take this little girl and keep her close and a secret that you only want to share but you failed to realize the big picture"

"Big picture?"

Howard on response to the question was a smack to the face

"The jury has reached a verdict on the case of custody rights "

"Mr Roger will be granted 2 weeks of a month to have custody over the child and Mr Stark will have the other 2 weeks. You will be brought back in court 3 months later for evaluation and analysis from the child"

"Court dismissed"

"Steve we need to talk"
"Tony you heard the court no need to start something"

"No it is not that, I am pleased you have joint custody over Aurora."

Steve's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?"

"But if anything happens to my daughter I will laser of your dick and feed it to one of Loki's children preferably the wolf one" Tony threatened and walked away leaving a gaping Steve.
