Only Forever-Stony Stark

Chapter 9

Tony never thought that Steve would find out this way, after all this time that he tried to hide it.Not only from him but from the whole world as well, he wasn't quite happy that he found out that he had a daughter.For the brunette did walk out with the intention of never seeing him ever again.But destiny happened and it somehow wanted them to reunite not only as a couple but as a family as well.Tony was left speechless when the super soldier had abruptly told him that Aurora was his daughter, thinking of who might have told him about this when nobody knew but Pepper and Rhodey. 

He thought of the possibility of Fury maybe telling him but he really doubt he would have told him since he was the one person who didn't want anyone to know.How long did he knew this for?Why did he wait until now to speak to him about it?Tony couldn't just understand and he never would "How did you find out?" "It doesn't matter, now I know and I'm gonna fight to be with her"Tony turned to look at Aurora who was talking to Pepper he watched as she giggled about something that she said.He thought of the three of them as maybe a family but he knew that wasn't going to happen not when he just got married. 

Tony turned back to Steve and after a moment of silence spoke up "What are you gonna do huh?Take her away from me" he sneered, he knew that Steve wouldn't be able to do such thing he was too good of a person to even consider it.Boy was he very wrong "If that's what it takes, then yes", "YOU'RE NOT TAKING HER AWAY FROM ME"he yelled getting close to his face, he never thought that it would end this way.Fighting with the one person he only loved for their daughter that they should be sharing.Tony wasn't about to let him have custody of her when he just married Sharon a person who despises her.

He knew the hell that she was gonna be put through, but over his dead body was he going to let him take his little girl away from him. "You're not exactly a great father figure for her Tony, you're an alcoholic who can't stop drinking for the sake of your daughter"he retorted back,Steve wasn't quite sure why he had said that.When they were dating he was dealing with a drinking problem so it was easy to assume that he was still going through that."What the hell do you know?"

"I know you're not fit to take care of Aurora, and I'm just letting you know that I will be filling for full custody"Tony tried his best to hold back his tears.The thought of not being with her just ripped him apart from the inside.How could he be doing this to him?It was the only thing that was running through his mind.What was he going to do without his little peanut? "You can't do that I won't let you", "Why don't we let a judge decide that I'll have my lawyer send you the court order"he turned and left just like that without saying any other word.

Tony at this point didn't know what to do, all he knew was that he needed to get a lawyer and quick.Later that night Tony sat on his bed thinking about what had happened, he wanted to do something about it but his lawyer said that he this battle lost since he had kept Aurora from him all these years. But when he last saw Steve he felt this hatred towards him that the last thing he wanted was to be associated with him ever again. 

This are the consequences to his actions now that he knew he had a daughter he was going to to take her away from him, the mechanic sighed deeply staring down at his Iron Man helmet when there was a small soft knock at the door.He didn't even bothered to reply he did not wanted to see anybody, the door swung open as he heard some little feet walking towards him, it was Aurora.She sat down on the bed in front of him and frowned when she saw he daddy's sad face "Daddy are you sad because Steve got married with someone else?"she asked innocently,Tony glanced up at her chuckling and shaking his head. 

He picked her up and sat her on his lap kissing the top of her head gently "No peanut"Aurora stared up at him with a confused face wondering why her dad was sad.Tony sighed hugging his daughter tightly thinking again on what Steve had told him, he had to tell her how he lied to her all these years. "Peanut, remember how I told you that you had two daddies"she nodded her head still not understanding why he was bringing that up since she was told that he had passed away a long time ago. The mechanic knew that after this she was going to hate him and maybe she won't want to talk to him anymore, he would understand why 

"Well I lied to you, you're other dad he...he didn't die.Your dad is...it's Steve"Aurora quickly pushed him away as she stared at him in complete disappointment. He had once promised her that he was never going to lie to her yet he did "You're a liar"Tony shook her head reaching out to grab her hands but she snatched them away from him quickly taking a step backwards "Peanut I didn't mean to lie to you baby. I just thought...", "You're a liar a big fat liar.I hate you!!"she screamed running her room as Tony yelled after her.Pepper came into his room confused as to why Aurora was yelling at him.

When she saw him sitting on the bed on the verge of tears it was like she knew what was happening, she walked over to the bed and sat next him hugging him tightly. "I'm the the most disgusting person ever", "No Tony don't say that.You are the greatest father she could have"the brunette shook his head a single tear running down his cheek but he quickly wiped it away.He stood up from the bed "She hates me Pep, she hates me because I was selfish enough to prevent her from knowing who Steve was"Pepper sighed standing up walking to him, she lifted his chin up so he would look at her "You did what you thought was right for her, she will soon realize how incredibly lucky she is to have a father like you"and she was right...
