Chapter 1 – Lamentations
The group of Treyah students had made it across the portal door and now they were on the other side. Surrounding them was a vast field of grey and nothing was on site but a huge door at the end of the hallway that they were in. The floor that they were standing on had a make shift pattern that looked like a magic seal of long ago. There was an abundance of grey spirit energy around them and to the people who didn’t really know how to handle that kind of power, it would seem that this place was poison to their energy pool.
“Too much grey, I don’t like it.” Zaix said as he and the rest of his companions walked across the hallway.
As they were nearing the huge door that they saw, it would seem that there was a castle being formed in front of them and the huge door was the entrance to it. The castle was elegant and beautiful but it was at the same time pale and sad. It’s color was that of silver and it had a few towers on it. It would seem that their leader was a resident of it for a long time.
“That’s some palace to live in.” Melfice said as he walked with the group.
“Suits Julia well.” Zaix joked as he snickered. The lady did not reply to him in return.
They neared the huge door and as they closed in, a grey portal opened in front of them. The group of students readied their respective weapons in order to prepare for battle.
Vrede walked out of the grey portal that he had conjured. He still had that smug look on his face as he saw the students right in front of him.
“I knew you’d make it.” He said to them, then he noticed that they were ready to strike at him. “Whoa whoa! Take it easy, I’m not here to fight.” He said as he held his hands up slightly.
“Then are you a free kill?” Seiryu asked him with coldness in his voice.
“Look, Verrath said you needed a tour guide so I volunteered.” He said as he ruffled his spiky red hair. He then fixed up his grey cloak. “Seems like you guys are not going to let your guard down huh?” he said with a smirk on his face.
“We’re not stupid.” Yue replied to him as she had blue spirit energy around her.
“Finally the other half speaks and lives!” Vrede said to her. “Anyway, this first door? This is where your first challenge resides.” He said to them.
“Really nice of you to inform us.” Melfice said to him. “But we don’t really need one of you to be our tour guide.” He said with an angry look on his face.
“Elle would be so disappointed.” The red haired Sentis member said and this fueled Melfice’s anger. “Anyway” he said as he snapped his fingers. The door in front of them had opened in an instant. “Enjoy your stay.” He said as he conjured another grey void and disappeared with it.
“Mind games.” Julia said after Vrede had left. “They plan on messing with our minds.” She added.
“It’s worked on Melfice already.” Seiryu said as they all entered the door which led to a room that had a wide ballroom inside it.
There was a chandelier on top of the room that they were at and grey flames had fueled its light. On the ballroom itself however stood two hooded Sentis members.
“You finally made it.” A familiar voice said to them. It was one of the hooded Sentis members. He removed his hood and revealed a white haired Sentis member. His hair was long but it was spiked up on the front.
“Now the show down can happen.” The other said as he pulled down his hood as well. His hair was straight and long in contrast to his twin which was spiked up. It was Dekstros.
