Chapter 13 – The Final Form (Chimera of End)

A loud lion’s roar was heard and what had followed after it was a series of light energy explosions. Melfice and Yue ducked and covered themselves in order to shield their bodies from harm.

“Fight me!” Fraus roared as she rushed towards the both of them. Multiple light energy versions of her chakram weapon had surrounded and circled around her body. She closed in to the two students and swung her spear with the huge force of wind following it.

“Damn!” The fire wielder shouted as he jumped up to evade the attack. The Sentis monster had prevented him from getting far due to her holding on to his leg. She then tossed him towards a wall and once Melfice made impact against it, he winced in pain.

“We’ll stop you at all costs!” Yue shouted as she summoned yellow spirit energy around her arms and red flames came rushing towards her as well. “Primal Fire!” she said as a huge surge of flames came from her hands. “Raitei Dagger!” she foolowed up and the mixture of lightning and fire rays now made their way towards the monster Sentis.

Fraus on the other hand just waved one of her gauntlets and immediately with that gesture, she had pushed the incoming magic blast to the side and it exploded away from her.

“What the?!” the azure haired girl shouted as she tried to stay on her guard.

“I will…destroy you all!” her distorted voice replied to Yue as she rushed towards her with fast speed.

The female Sentis monster now swung her spear at her as she closed in and it made impact with the azure haired student. This sent her flying towards the wall opposite of where Melfice is.

“End me!” the Sentis member said as the crest on her armor lit up with light spirit energy and she roared once more and a sound of a pained lion can be heard from all over.

“She’s too strong…” Yue said as she tried to stand up.

“Damn it…” the hybrid wielder said as he stood up once more. Flames raged around him while he held his gunblade.  “Give her back…give back the Elle that we once knew…the Elle that I still care for!” he shouted as he rushed towards the Sentis member.

Fraus faced Melfice as she sensed her flames from behind. The latter swung his weapon at her as he executed a series of fast slashes. Each time he let slashed and tried to hit his adversary, red flames had come out of the blade of his weapon. The monster Sentis however kept on parrying and dodging his attacks effectively. It was pretty clear cut that she had the advantage while she was in her second form.

“Is that all you got?!” she shouted at him with her distorted voice. “If you can’t defeat me then die!” she said as she slammed the other end of her spear on the ground.

Right on cue, rays of light energy came from above and each ray had tried to hit the fire wielder. He tried to dodge some of the rays but eventually he was hit once more and was sent reeling back from the attack. Melfice knelt down on one knee after one particular hit and he clutched his chest.

“Damn you…” he said as flames continued to conjure around him.

“That’s right!” she shouted at him. “Give in to the hate, strike me down!” she shouted as a roar of a lion had followed afterwards.

Without her being aware, Yue was already closing in behind her. The azure haired student conjured yellow spirit energy on her arms once more and the lightning around her began to form into a sword.

“Susanoo Hashi!” she shouted as she tried to slash the off-guard Fraus with her lightning blade edge.

The monster Sentis heard her shout and she tried to evade the attack but Yue was too quick this time and her lightning attack had connected. It had sent Fraus reeling to her left side and she seemed to lose balance. Her gauntlet on the right held on her spear to restore her balance as she slid on the floor due to the impact of Yue’s magical attack.
