Chapter 4 – Clarifications
Fraus stood in her room as she felt that two of her comrades had already been defeated. She fixed her hair as her eyes shone a bright blue. It still had the grey hue in them but it wasn’t that much anymore. Her grey cloak was draped over her petite shoulders as she faced her door once again. She had known that everyone she had been associated with was now fighting inside her master’s realm.
She felt a surge of darkness coming from her doorstep and she went near it and opened it. To her surprise she saw an old acquaintance of hers. It was none other than the calm student.
“Come here to kill me?” she said as she walked right past Lucian. She did not have the will to fight yet.
“Apparently not. I just sort of ended up here when I went through one of Vrede’s doors.” Lucian replied to her with a smile on his face.
“Why wouldn’t you then?” Fraus said as she turned her back on him. “It is your mission after all.” She added.
“Where’s your master?” Lucian asked her nicely as he held on his rapier.
“The hallway in front of me leads to his chambers. It is also where the fallen Yanmiege is housed.” She replied to him.
With that Lucian walked past her and made his way to the master’s chambers. He then stopped at his tracks at first.
“You should go.” Fraus said. “There’s not much time left.” She added.
“I should be saying the same to you.” Lucian said to her calmly. “Or is it that you have decided?” he added.
It took a bit of time for Fraus to understand what Lucian was saying but in time she had understood it.
“I have.” She replied. “There’s no need for one to stay any longer.” She added.
“I see.” Lucian said to her as he faced her. “Well, I have to go.” He said as he smiled at her.
“Do not take the master lightly Lucian, he’s a formidable fighter even in his weakened state.” She warned him.
“I’ll take my chances.” The calm student said to her. “You should as well Miss Elle.” He added as he made his way onwards to the grand door.
“You always did.” Fraus said softly to herself as she let out a small smile. She made her way now opposite the direction of where Lucian was going and she had reached the door at the end of her side of the hallway.
“No more holding back…” she said to herself as a small tear had rolled down one of her cheeks. Fraus opened the door and arrived at the spot where she was supposed to wait for her adversaries.

“Gyaghhh!” Vollerei shouted as he felt the spirit spear pierce past his chest. He was holding on his huge mallet weapon and he was preparing to strike Terrah down who was coming from above but it was her who came in first with her strike. The spear that impaled Vollerei went through is chest as it protruded on his back.
The attack had sent him falling on the ground once again and his mallet fell on the ground as well, producing shockwaves on the ground they were standing at. The light spear had made it back to Terrah’s hands.
“Finally…” Vollerei said as he exhaled. He felt is spirit energy waning and grey spirit particles began to come from him. “It would seem that my end is nigh.” He said as his facial expression had changed into a calmer one.
