"Hi Brianna", I say as I enter her room. "Hi Nikki, what do you need to tell me?" she asks. "Well, it looks like soon you won't be just "Brianna" you'll be "Aunt Brianna", I smile. "Are you kidding me? Congrats Nikki!" Brianna jumped on her bed. "Well Aunt Brianna, I guess we should go and tell the others", I get off her bed. "Wait- why did you tell me first", she says as we exit her room. "Because you are a great sister and I don't know what I would do without you", I reply simply.
"We gathered you, our friends and family here together because we wanted to tell you something", Brandon announced.
"So instead of giving you a long and boring speech, we wanted to tell you that we hope that mom and dad will be really good grandparents", I said smiling.
And that was when the squealing, hugging, congratulating and tears (my mom was crying again) started.
But the best part is that we were all happy and that we were all together, and that's precious to me. Chloe, Zoe, Violet, Marcy, Marcus, Theo, Antony, Aleksander, Lucas (Zoey's son), Sofia (Violet's baby who isn't born yet, but is technically present in the room), my baby (because it is in technically in the room too), Brianna, mom, Brandon's grandparents, my grandparents and Brandon. All of these people are very special to me. And I thank God for sending them to me.
