Dork Diaries - A New Beginning Part 2

Oliver Awakens

January 19th
Tuesday

It was a peaceful day at the Robert's household until...

"Nikki! Nikki! Oliver woke up!
He's alive! He's okay!"

I turn around to see Brianna bursting in to my house while screaming.

"I need to get you to take me to the hospital!"

"But Brianna, I have to take care of the triplets. Can't mom drive you there?"

"No Nikki! Our car is in repairs."

"So you ran all the way here?"

"I cycled. Now can you please take me there."

"I'll call mom and ask her can she take care of the girls."

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

I quickly call mom.

"Hi mom, Brianna came bursting in and asked me to take her to the hospital to see Oliver because he woke up. Would you be available to take care of the girls."

"So that's where Brianna was in such a rush to go to. Of course I'll take care of the girls. It's always a pleasure to see my granddaughters."

"Thank you so much mom! You're great! I'll be there in ten to fifteen minutes."

"Ok. Bye."

"Bye. Thanks again."

I turn off my phone and look at Brianna.

"Go get ready. I'll get the girls."

"Thank you so much! I love you Nikki!"

About thirty minutes later after we leave the girls with mom we arrive at the hospital.

I can see that Brianna is excited but also nervous.

"It'll be okay", I reassure her as we enter the hospital

Oliver is laying down on his bed but his eyes are open.

"Brianna", he whispers as soon as he notices her.

"Oliver, I missed you so much!" Brianna smiled as she carefully hugged him.

"I'll be outside", I say and go outside of the room to give them some time alone.

After some time, Brianna comes out of the room smiling.

"Oliver wants to talk to you", she says.

"Hey Oliver, how are you?" I ask.

"I'm fine. I wanted to thank you for taking Brianna here. It means a lot to both me and her. She was the first person that I asked to see. I missed her very much. I heard both yours and her voice while I was in a coma. It felt like a dream."

"I'm glad that you both get to see eachother."

"Sorry to interrupt but Oliver's parents are here to see him", A nurse comes in and says.

"Okay. Thank you very much. Bye Oliver."

"Bye Nikki."

"Bye Oliver, I love you", Brianna says.

"Bye Bri", Oliver smiles.
