I haven't been writing since Tuesday, I know. But I was busy so don't blame me.
I was preparing for this day since Tuesday. Today is the day that Brandon finds out that he will be a father.
I asked him could we go to the beach because the weather was beautiful and I just wanted to spend time with him in that special place. He looked a bit confused at first but then he just smiled and said that that is a great idea. And so we went to the beach. We splashed about in the water like children for a while and then I told him to close his eyes. I too a stick and wrote "Every husband can be a father, but only a great husband can be a daddy" in the sand. Then I told him to open his eyes. At first he stood there completely shocked. Then he came up to me and kissed me. When he let go there were tears in his eyes. "I'll be a great daddy, I promise", he kissed my cheek. Then we both completely lost it and started crying together.
