Getting To Know The Girls More

January 12th

Now I know that this isn't really an entry telling you about what happened during the day, but I wanted to write about the girls a bit more.

So I'll start off with the oldest one: Felicity Adelide Roberts.
She was born on the 1st of January at 12 p.m.

Then there's Faith Alexandra Roberts who was born second.
She was born on the 1st of January at 12:05 p.m.

And the youngest one is Flora Anastasia Roberts who was born on the 1st of January at 12:10 p.m.

Now, how do I  tell them apart?
They are identical!
And when I mean identical, I mean identical.
They even weigh the exact same!
To someone who doesn't know them really well they are the like exact same person but times 3.

To me though, they are very different. Ok, maybe not in the way they look but definitely in the way they behave.

Felicity is the one that screams and cries the most.

Faith is the one that smiles and laughs the most.

And Flora is the shy and quiet one.

Ok but how do I tell them apart by just looking at them?

Well that's a hard question.
I just know it from looking at them.
I guess that you would have to spend most of your days with them to be able to tell them apart just like that.

Also as it may surprise you, Felicity is not the hardest one to put to sleep even though she cries the most. Actually, when it comes to falling asleep, she's usually the first one.

Flora is the hardest to put to sleep. She'll just stare up at you while you sing to her or do whatever else to put her to sleep.
She won't cry (usually), she'll simply stare at you. You can try, but it may sometimes take you half an hour or even longer to put her to sleep.

Faith has an obsession with her teddy.
She may be almost 2 weeks old but she knows how get to what she wants already.
For example, she will not fall asleep without having her teddy bear (who currently has no name) in her cot.
She will use the Felicity technique (screaming and crying), she will use the Flora technique (staring straight at you), or most commonly, she will use the Faith technique (laughing). Yeah, I know that that sounds crazy, but it works, and she knows it. She will laugh as loud as she possibly can.
The reason that this works is because you don't want her to wake up her sisters (mainly Felicity because Flora is probably still looking at you fail at putting Faith to sleep). So to prevent having to have to put another baby to sleep all over again,  you give in and give her the teddy so she'll quiet down.
And it works like magic!
The second that that teddy is in her cot, she goes quiet.
For such a small child she is really smart.

Here's another thing about Felicity, she likes making this "mmm" sound a lot. She'll do it at really random times and it usually makes all three of the girls laugh.

Ok, back to Faith. You always know when she's about to cry because she starts blinking a lot right before crying. So for example, when she's tired you'll just see her start blinking like crazy, and then the waterworks start.

Flora really hates when she gets dirty. She cannot stand being dirty. She will scream and cry even when her clothes are the tiniest bit dirty. She usually very calms down you change her into clean clothes and a clean, fresh diaper.
