January 1st
It's been around two or three months dear diary. We've been really busy preparing for the arrival of the triplets. Trying to keep up with writing a diary while pregnant with triplets is not the easiest task.
Anyways, I was looking over mine and Brandon's wedding pictures when it happened.
My water broke.
Brandon was gone shopping.
I was going into labour while home .
I felt dizzy.
I started breathing heavily.
I took my phone and called Brandon.
"Hey Nikki what's up?" He said completely casually. Then his voice went deeper when he heard me moan in pain.
"Nikki are you alright?"
"My water broke. The babies are coming."
"I'll be there in five minutes."
I stumbled upstairs and got the bag with the babies' things.
Just as I got back downstairs the door burst open.
"Get in the car Nikki." Brandon said as he took the bag from me.
I couldn't walk.
I couldn't feel my legs anymore.
Brandon suddenly picked me up bridal style and carried me to the car (I have no idea how he managed to lift me up).
"Just breathe in and out." he told me.
"Are you ready to become a father?" I asked him weakly.
"As ready as I could possibly be."
For the rest of the car ride we stayed silent and held hands.
When we got to the hospital I was immediately put on a wheelchair and taken into the delivery room.
