"What was that all about?" Rush asked Liam once they were in the privacy of their office.

"I do not know man," Liam said while pushing his hand through his hairs in stress,

"I got a bit scared when I saw her there. We just got Eva in our life. I could not help but shudder at the thought of Eva meeting her and getting to know what I am to her. I told her I would meet her at the pack house. But she.."

"Wa.. wait a minute." Rush interrupted him. "Are you telling me that you have not told her about Eva till now?"

Liam gave a guilty look to Rush.

"Are you even planning to tell her or not, Liam?" Rush blasted in anger.

"I do not know, alright!" Liam said angrily. "I do not fucking know. Let's just focus on Eva for now."

"But.."

"Shut up." Liam stopped Rush before he could say anything else. Rush threw his hands up in exasperation.

One month Later

Eva bid goodbye to her boss and went towards the lift.

To her amazement, the lift stopped instantly just as she pressed the call button.

When she lifted her eyes to enter the lift, she saw Liam and Rush standing in the back through the crowd of people.

She was not even surprised to see them. It had suddenly become a ritual.

They came in morning. Prepared her breakfast. Actually, their faces was the first thing that she had started seeing in the morning.

They picked her up to drop at the office. Sometimes they even sent her lunch and flowers.

They had asked her a million times now to go with them on a lunch, dinner, he'll, even a snack date. But she had refused every time. She did not want to rush into any kind of relation with them.

But it felt like she could not keep control over herself. She had started falling for them.

Respecting her decision, Rush and Liam had also kept their overflowing love for her in a tamed cage. But they knew that it was just a matter of time before they lose control.

In the evening they dropped her off at home but half heartedly. They wanted to live with her. But she had just started giving in to them, making them feel welcomed.

And the day of their union with her looked so near now.

At first, their overbearing attention felt like a pain in her ass 'cause you know, she is a strong, independent woman who does not need this kind of lovey dovey things in her life.

But then it actually felt good to have someone in her life who took care of her.

Upon seeing them in front of her eyes she smiled in exasperation and happiness but did not say anything.

She felt a tug on her waistband from behind. She rolled her eyes.

Through the sea of people, it was hard to get to the back where Rush and Liam were standing. But when they kept on tugging at her to go to them, she turned her head and shot them angry looks.

They had been wanting her to come with them in their private lift but she did not want to garn any unnecessary attention at work.

And coming and exciting the office building with the owners of the building in their private lift was just the way to invite the necessarily bitchy looks. So she straight out told them a no.
