52- A Good Morning

With Hailey staying right beside them, the dinner ended pretty fast. It was not something that Rush and Eva had imagined, because their romantic dinner date had gotten ruined and turned into a family dinner, but it was actually better than nothing. 

All of them got out of the club, with Hailey chatting away constantly about her college life and vacations and stuff, Eva was feeling left out. Rush and Liam were focused on her, everything she was saying. Although when they were getting out of the private room Liam had tried to put his hand on her waist, flinching, she had moved instantly, going by Rush's side. She had not lifted up her head to look at Liam's face. She could not do it. 

"What are you thinking about?" she heard Rush's voice in her ear softly. Turning her head she found him looking down at her with a small smile.

"Nothing," she murmured and smiled back, "I am tired."

"Where is your car?" Liam's voice interrupted them, his gaze falling on Eva, "Ride with me?"

Eva ignored him and continued to walk towards the parked car. Rush's gaze drifted to Liam whose face had fallen but he did not comment. 

"Let's meet at home." he said, smiled down at Hailey, and started striding towards his car. Hailey's arms stayed wrapped tightly around Rush's, her gaze following the couple walking away.

Liam put a hand around Hailey's shoulder and said with enthusiasm, "Let's take you home." 

Hailey instantly closed in and clutched the front of Liam's jacket in her small fist, her face looking up at Liam brightly and grinning, "I am very excited to stay with you both!"

Liam scrunched his eyebrows in a fake frown and growled, "and what about Eva?"

Hailey's face turned to a shocking expression like she had forgotten about Eva and exclaimed, "oh yes! Eva too, of course."

Unknown to them, Eva was standing beside the car, staring at both of them. Her eyes flickering sneakily to them and noticing how close both of them were. 

"Get in, love." Rush said as he unlocked the car and climbed in to the driver seat.

Eva gave one last glance to Hailey and Liam and slid inside. The sight she had seen burning her heart a little.

Eva woke up as the sun shined down at her face from the window. Her eyes blinking the harshness of the bright sun away and trying to focus. Rush's arm was wrapped around her, his hand clutching her waist, keeping her bottom close to his, and his other hand under her head acting as a pillow. His scent was surrounding her.

She gently put her hand on his wrist and as slowly and carefully as she could, tried to lift and remove it. She had succeeded halfway when his hand grabbed hers and turned her over, pulling her down underneath himself and climbing on the top of her.

Eva gasped out in surprise, barely managing to hold her scream in.

"What?!" she whispered as her eyes widened, and shot up to look up at his face.

"Why did you wake me up?" Rush growled in a sleepy voice and dropped his face in her neck, leaving a trail of his lips from the blades of her shoulder to the inside of her neck.

Eva twitched instantly, the ticklish feeling of his breath and warmth of his mouth igniting a spark of desire in her.

"Let go," she whispered, "it is morning already. You can sleep some more though. I will wake you up later."

"Hmm... kay." he groaned and settled in, half of his weight on the bed and the upper half of his naked body clutching hers in a hug tightly.

When his breaths went back to normal, Eva tried to slip out again, but as soon as she moved, he growled, "what is the matter woman. Let me sleep!"
