I smiled up at Harry from my spot next to him. We were walking down a backstreet to a small beach not many people knew about. We had security with us, but not a lot. Obviously we had to have some just in case a fan recognized us and sent out a Twitter message. So far, we hadn’t had any problems.
“Could we move any slower? Come on!” Natalie whined from the front of the group. She was in the process of pulling Niall, trying to get him to go faster. I chuckled, and whispered to the only member of the group I had forgiven.
“She has their wedding planned.” I said into his ear. He looked at me wide-eyed before bursting into a fit of laughter.
“Really?” He whispered back. I nodded.
“Disneyland. You might want to let him know. He’ll need to start saving.” I whispered, sounding completely serious.
“Why does she get Disneyland? You just got a beach.” He whispered, winking.
“I’m a little less, uh, extravagant. Please tell me that’s obvious?” I said, motioning to our complete opposite apparel. I was in a floral bandeau top with matching bottoms. On top was a netted shirt, and floral shorts. My hair was up in a ponytail, with a flower sticking out of it, the only accessory I was wearing. I wore floral flip flops to complete the look.
Natalie, on the other hand, was wearing a bright pink one piece with a retro cut in the middle. Her shorts were neon green, and her top was a see-through neon pink. Her shoes were bright yellow hitops, and her hair was in a ponytail with a bright yellow flower. We had to look like complete opposites.
“No. I’d say it’s pretty obvious.” Harry whispered in my ear. I tried my best to ignore the involuntary shiver that ran through my body.
“But seriously, how long is she going to be mad?” Louis asked, motioning at me. I chuckled, pulling Harry down so I could whisper something in his ear.
“Until you tell her how long we were there.” Harry stated.
“I don’t know, like, two songs.” Louis said, ready for me to be over it. I could tell we were going to get along wonderfully.
“I can not believe you guys! That isn’t allowed anymore. We clear?” I said, looking at them all in turn. They nodded eagerly just as the beach came into view.
“Finally!” Natalie yelled, dead sprinting towards the sand. I laughed, taking my sweet time. One of the security guards cleared his throat.
“We’re just going to stay at the beach entrances. Don’t do anything stupid.” He said. He stopped, so we thanked him and continued into the beach. I took my shoes off, savoring the feeling of sand beneath my feet. Harry bent down to take his shoes off. I took the opportunity to look at him.
He was wearing a pair of plaid orange shorts, with a white t-shirt. He had sandals on, which he had successfully gotten off of his feet. He sighed slightly when his feet hit the sand. I smiled up at him. “What? It’s been a while since I’ve been on a beach.” He said, grabbing my hand again. I nodded.
“Me too. Actually, it’s been about four years.” I said, realizing it had been since my last vacation during my fifth grade summer.
“Really?” He asked, sounding shocked. I nodded, looking out at the beach.
“It’s so pretty.” I said, smiling. He agreed, pulling me towards the water. “Wait. Wait! Haz, it’s going to be cold. Don’t you da-” I was cut off by the sudden splash of water. He threw another wave of water at me, obviously enjoying himself! I took my shirt and shorts off, throwing them on my towel with my bag. “Harry Styles!” I yelled, chasing after him. The water was surprisingly warm. “So help me, when I get to you!” I yelled, already tiring out as he moved further into the water.
