NATSU*

"N- Natsu, what is this?" Lisanna asked, eyes wide. Natsu was on the verge of a mental break down. This was so terrible. Who could do this? Lisanna stood, staring at the thousands of cells, confused. But still with the sinking feeling that something was terribly wrong.

This was bigger than Lucy. This was bigger than the Heartfilia's.

So Lucy wasn't the only one. Thought Natsu. There had been thousands of children held down here. Just like Lucy.

"I think we should go upstairs and tell everybody about Lucy." Natsu said coldly. Everybody needed to know the truth. This changed things. This changed everything.

--------------------

Natsu and Lisanna reached the ground floor of the house and called everybody to meet them. When every one was there Natsu asked with a pained look if they'd found anything.

"No. I didn't find anything upstairs." Mira said suspiciously.

"The attic was empty." Erza said simply.

"The backyard is a man!" Cried Elfman. Meaning that the backyard was clear.

"Wendy and I found something." Romeo admitted. "But I'm not sure if it's helpful." He added awkwardly.

"What is it?" Natsu asked eagerly.

"Well, in the garage, there's a bunch of keys." He said.

"A bunch? There must be thousands!" Added Wendy, throwing her arms in the air for emphasis. Natsu's eyes widened.

"Are they numbered?" He asked quietly.

"Yeah... How did you know?" Asked Romeo.

"Natsu, weren't the doors numbered downstairs?" Lisanna asked, I nodded in reply. Erza looked at us curiously.

"Doors?" She questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"I think we need to explain Lucy's situation, with the rest of them guys." I said to Erza and Mira. "You guys, Gray, and I are the only ones who know." I explained. Romeo, Wendy, Lisanna, and Elfman stared at me in confusion.

"You should tell them." Erza offered.

"Okay." I agreed solemnly. "Well, this is going to sound crazy," I started, "but Lucy, the girl we're searching for, she's been held in a cell in this house. For seven years." I explained as the others looked on in shock.

"And," I continued, looking towards Erza and Mira, "we have a problem."

"What is it?!" Mira demanded impatiently.

"In the basement, there are thousands of cells. Just like Lucy's. I think that a lot more children were held here than we thought." I said, my voice nearly cracking on the last sentence. A tear fell out of Mira's eye, and she brushed it away violently.

"Thousands?" She asked.

"Yeah. But I didn't check to see in the cells were empty." I explained, not wanting them to know I was to frightened to.

"They obviously are." Erza said, and we all turned to look at her. "Well, think about it. If there were other children held here like Lucy, why would they only take her? She wasn't special. Nobody knew she had escaped." I usually wouldn't dare, but I wanted to punch Erza in the face. Lucy was special. She was special to me. And no way in hell was I letting some psychotic freak take her away from me.
