HEY THERE, I'VE GOT NOTHING... XD WELL, HERE'S CHAPTER 27:

NATSU* p.o.v.

I could honestly say that last night was the most normal night I'd had in 5 years. I wasn't sure if that should make me happy or sad. I woke up from Happy shaking me and I fell right off my hammock.

"Natsu, let's go on a job today!" He cried happily. I smiled widely at his frantic joy.

"Alright!" I agreed quickly, "Let's race back to the guild!" I began running, not waiting for Happy to catch up. But when I arrived through the guild doors, Happy was sitting at a nearby table with a proud look. I laughed and asked him how he'd done it.

"I'll never tell!" He laughed and I ordered for a rematch, but he just sat there laughing. I stalked over to the request board, looking at all the jobs we could do, when suddenly I smelled something strange. It smelled like metal and sweat and rust. Almost like the smell of blood, but not quite. I turned to look for the source, and sure enough, there was a strange figure at the entrance of the guild. He quickly glanced to his left, and I followed his gaze. He looked at Wendy. The thing was, she returned his look and gave him a small, barely noticeable, nod. She and I seemed to be the only two who'd noticed him come in.

"Find any requests?!" Happy said right next me my ear. I jumped with surprise and turned to him.

"Huh? Oh, um, no. You keep looking okay?" I asked him, trying to sound carefree. Happy nodded and turned to look for more requests. When I turned back to look, the dark figure was gone, and so was Wendy.

LUCY* p.o.v.

I awoke on the floor in the same room as last night. As I'd thought, nobody had come looking for me. I stood up, ignoring the pain in my stiff neck, and tried to open the door again. It still wouldn't budge. I banged on the door and cried, but still, no one came. I pulled up my legs close to my chest and sobbed for a while. When I looked back up, the walls seemed to be closing in on me. Everything was fading, turning the walls and floor white.

No, I thought, not again! I screamed for someone to help me! Anybody! Not again, I'm going to be taken again?! I cried out and screamed at the top of my lungs, closing my eyes into my arms and crying. I was back in a cell.

Somebody knocked on the door.

I opened my eyes. I was still in the study. A panic attack? I needed to get out of here.

Another knock on the door.

"H-hello?" I asked quietly.

"Hello." Said a voice behind the door.

"Help me, p-please? I'm stuck. H-help." I asked a bit louder. The doorknob turned and the door beside me opened with ease. Levi stood there, looking down at me and offered me his hand. I took it and he wiped it off after I was on my feet.

"Th-thank you." I said, looking down with a slight blush.

"It's only fair I guess. You helped me out of mine." He replied, I nodded. "Why were you stuck in here anyways?" He asked with a lack of curiosity in his voice.

"The door was jammed." I answered curtly, right now, I just wanted to go home.

"You were here all night." He stated like it wasn't a question. I nodded. He stared at me for a second, making me embarrassed and exposed for some reason. "I'll walk you home." He said, and began walking before I could object. I ran to catch up to him. We walked in silence, and I wondered why he was helping me. It was awkward, yes, but I also felt safe with somebody walking beside me for once. When we arrived at my apartment I walked in and got into bed, aware of the horrible loneliness that would come if I didn't fall asleep. Levi Baganda to walk out.

"Um," I said, watching him turn back to look at me, "could you stay?" I asked, wanting to bury my face in my blanket from embarrassment. I watched as his eyes widened in surprise for the first time. He contemplated for a while, making me more embarrassed.

"No." He said, looking at the ground. And to my relief, and slight despair, he closed the door and walked out. One thing was for sure, I definitely wasn't getting any sleep now.

NATSU*

Natsu looked around the guild some more, trying not to cause panic. He'd been trying to follow Wendy's scent, but that was the thing. There was no 'Wendy's scent'. He didn't know why he hadn't realized before, but he'd been so busy, it was as if Wendy's scent had never been there since they'd gotten back to the guild. But, he could smell that awful, metallic smell, and, against his better judgement, he was following it.

After a while, he'd completely lost track of how long he'd followed the scent, and where he was. He was in the middle of the Magnolia forest, he knew that much. But after walking so far, and searching so intently, the scent disappeared.

"What?!" Natsu whispered, smelling around to catch a whiff of the smell. No luck, the shadowy figure, and apparently Wendy as well, were gone. Natsu was stumped. How could a smell just disappear?! Even teleporting left some sort of sign. Well, between you and me, looking up probably would've helped. Natsu began walking home, not realizing how dark it had gotten, only right over where he'd been standing.

--------------------

Natsu got back to the guild and walked in through the doors glumly. That had been a bust. Not to mention Happy would be disappointed about not going on a job. He sat down on a chair and waited for Happy to find him. Eventually he came to sit across from him.

"Natsu?" Happy asked. Natsu met the cats eyes and managed a small smile.

"Sorry, Happy, well go on a job tomorrow." He promised. Happy didn't look convinced, but he nodded anyways.

"What happened today, anyways?" Happy asked, eyes trained on the floor. Natsu shrugged.

"I'll tell you soon, we need to tell everybody in the guild. In case they haven't noticed already." Natsu answered.

"Noticed what?" Natsu stopped walking and looked at Happy.

"Wendy's missing."
