The couple were sat in bed, being a Saturday morning, cuddled in the position they had sat in so many times, yet never got bored or tired of it. Both were smiling beyond control, Caitlin's head buried in Barry's chest, his arm wrapped around her, hand on her shoulder, the other hand being interlocked with hers. They had only recently woken up, not wanting to leave the warmth of the bed, happy with simply being next to one another.

However, it wasn't too long after this that they both slowly slipped out of bed, however not before sharing a passionate kiss lasting a few minutes, smiling to themselves as they slipped out of bed, Caitlin throwing on some of Barry's clothes, Barry getting some more of his out from the wardrobe, throwing them onto himself as the pair wandered downstairs, Barry offering to make the pair breakfast. He later emerged with Caitlin's favourite, pancakes and hot chocolate.

"Hope you enjoy, Cait," he smiled, sitting down next to her, handing Caitlin her plate and putting his own on the side as he shifted closer to Caitlin, before picking up his own plate again as they snuggled up to eat breakfast together.

The pair finished their food, before staying cuddled up for a few more minutes, sharing the odd few kisses every now and then.

"I should probably go and shower, as well as get properly dressed," Caitlin said, squeezing his hand as she stood up.

"If you want, you could join me," she teased, looking over at him and winking playfully.

"Okay, if you want," Barry replied with a similarly playful tone, standing up and following Caitlin to the bathroom.

As they both entered, they started to passionately kiss, sometimes playfully biting on the others lip, eventually adding their tongues as it turned into a small make out session. They continued to kiss, breaking away only to catch their breath, staring into the other's eyes, seeing them blush quite significantly, before rejoining lips, being able to physically feel the other's smile, as the pair made out in their bathroom. As things started to accelerate, they backed into the shower which had been turned on a few minutes ago, still fully clothed. Their lips yet to break apart as they slowly shed each other of their layers of clothing, throwing them out of the shower as they continued to kiss, the water running down their bodies, down their faces as they continued to interlock their lips together, their hands gently rubbing the other's backs, one of Barry's hands moving upwards and cupping Caitlin's cheeks.

After around an hour, the pair had finished in the shower, now fully dressed and ready for the day.

"Hey Barry, I heard that they are opening a new hospital just a few streets away, and are asking for volunteers. Do you think that we should go and help out?"

"That sounds great, yeah, let's do it. When do we go?"

"It's all day, so if you want to we can leave now."

"Okay, well I'm pretty sure we are both ready, so how about it then," Barry said, walking over to the door, taking hold of Caitlin's hand as they walked down the many stairs, out into the street, and started to walk through the City.

-----------------------------------

After about 5 minutes of walking, the pair had reached the newly built hospital, walking in through the main entrance, heading up to the front desk.

"Hi, we are here to volunteer to help," Caitlin said to the receptionist, looking up at Barry, meeting his eye.

"Oh, if you just take the left corridor, you will see an information desk, just talk to the member of staff stationed there. Thank you for volunteering, it is much appreciated," she said, pointing to her left.

"Thank you," Barry said as the couple headed down the corridor towards the information desk.

It wasn't particularly far to get there, as they arrived this time Barry started the conversation.

"Hi, we were told to come here by the receptionist, we are volunteers,"

"Oh, thank you very much, may I just ask for an ID, as well as an occupation and/or specificities on any degrees, A-levels, etcetera."

The pair handed them their ID's before Caitlin spoke up.

"I am studying biochemistry, I am currently in university."

"I am studying to be a CSI, and I have A-levels in all 3 main sciences," Barry said afterwards.

"Okay, thank you, you two. We currently need someone over at the children's ward, and a helper upstairs to help sort all the chemicals which we use here. You can decide between you who does what," the member of staff said, before grabbing some paperwork and going through it.

The pair looked each other in the eyes before Caitlin spoke up.

"Well, how about I go to the children's ward, and you go to the chemicals?"

"Sounds good, see you soon Cait," he said, hugging her goodbye for a few hours as they went their separate ways to where they needed to be.

-----------------------------------

Caitlin walked up some stairs to the second floor and following the signs to the children's ward, eventually reaching it and knocking on the door to be greeted by a nurse.

"Hi, are you a volunteer?"

"Yes, I am."

"Well, thank you for volunteering. You don't have a specific task as much, just go around helping the children, talking to them, you get the idea. You seem like a nice person, so you should be right up to the task."

"Thank you, I guess I'll get started then,"

-----------------------------------

Around 3 hours had passed, Caitlin having spoken to many children, some parents commenting that she had really cheered them up, which made her smile to herself.

"Hey, Caitlin," the nurse said, looking her way.

"Yes?"

"By any chance do you have children of your own? Because you really show talent when it comes to this."

"I don't, as a matter of fact"

"Well, you should really consider it, you do great with children," the nurse said, before telling her that she was okay to leave now.

As Caitlin walked through the building on her way to meet Barry, she smiled to herself due to the comment that was just given to her. It was something she had never really thought about before, but the comment made her brain run with new thoughts.

As she approached the entrance of the hospital, she saw Barry at the end, a few metres away. As she saw him, one thing came into her head, causing her to smile.

Maybe one day.
