CHIKLIT/ROMANCE
"BULL! You still love that useless prick!"
"Harley!" I cry, "It's not him that I want! I lo-"
He punches the wall, forcing my favorite memory to shatter across the floor, "I'm going to kill him!"
Haunted by her memories, Liana...
I hope you enjoy this chapter. I made it a little lighter this time. I hope it puts a smile on your face.Hugs!!!
Charles, had it all figured out. Instead of saying my opinion, I just looked at him and nodded. I never thanked, Charles. I never said goodbye. I just left.

A "slight" flash forward:
Are you slightly curious as to what happened after that night? Well, obviously our parents had nothing to do with us anymore. They say parents are supposed to love you unconditionally, but I think our parents forgot to read the memo. Besides, I was completely fine with their choice. It took a few months of restless sleep in my new home before I came to terms they were not interested in my new location, but I loved the freedom; Having no one judge me for how I cleaned or did not clean, being able to listen to my music until three in the morning, or even if I wanted to eat pizza straight out of the box for breakfast, none of that mattered, because I was free from being judged.
I sometimes think back and wonder why did Mama mislead me that night. I trusted her into thinking she actually wanted me to go see Harley. Did she do it just to purposely attempt to catch me into doing something unthinkable in her eyes? I guess it could have been she was about to get cut off from receiving money, or was it something as petty as jealousy? After discovering the harsh news, she had been screwing Harley's dad, she could have been just jealous of the closeness between Harley and me. No matter what the reason, she was conniving and vindictive -something I could never forgive.
As for Harley's dad, he got what he wanted...me out of his son's life, but I don't think at the time having Charles as a part of the picture was in his evil plans. I knew Charles was still very much in Harley's life by watching it through live media. I remember as I awoke the next morning in my new home I had turned the television on to the news. I had watched in complete disbelief. It was, Charles. He was confessing his undying love for Harley. He made sure he was being broadcast live too. Channel 6 News was the most interested in his debut. They followed him as he climbed the stage right in the middle of the town square, on Juniper Avenue. The mayor was in the middle of an important speech about raising the local taxes again, but Charles took the spotlight.
He yelled towards the crowd, "I LOVE YOU HARLEY! I WANT US TO BE TOGETHER FOREVER!"
Every late-night television show made sure to play it on loop over and over, showing Charles on his knees crying happy tears as he held a bouquet of flowers as a romantic gesture to, Harley.
They never showed Harley's face in the crowd. He had to be there obviously, you could tell how Charles appeared so happy as he stared forward.
As for my own feelings. I just walked out of the room and poured my first cup of coffee in my new home. I loved my new home. It wasn't much. The entire size was no more than probably your kitchen or living room. I remember discovering if after driving for many hours and a dangerously low tank of gas.
