It was time for dinner and when Tyler trailed behind Josh to the table, he noticed three people he didn't recognize. Josh forgot his siblings returned, he also forgot that they have no clue who Tyler was.
"Ty, these are my sisters, Abby, Ashley and my brother Jordan." All three looked towards their direction sending warm smiles. All except Abby who looked confused.
"Did you and Eric split up?" Was the first thing she said. Josh tensed up at the mention of his name and cleared his throat.
"N-no sis, he's just busy and Tyler brought my homework and decided to stay for a bit.." He trailed off softly.
Tyler wondered about the discomfort when Eric's name was spoken but decided not question it. It was none of his business.
Momma Dun peeked out and smiled when she saw that everyone was here.
"Hope you don't mind my homemade fried chicken Tyler." Laura said.
"I'm sure it's great Momma Dun." He replied.
"Duuude, our mom's fried chicken is the best, you're gonna love it." Jordan said excitingly.
Ashley already set up the table and signaled everyone to go ahead and sit down. Ty took the seat next to Josh and smiled awkwardly. This was all new to him. Jordan let out a big cheer when the chicken was being put at the center of the table. He saw Laura heading back to the kitchen and stood up to offer help. Momma Dun told him not to worry and put down the rest of the food and plates.

As soon as dinner was done, Tyler went back to Josh's room with him. He looked at the clock on the desk in his room and noticed how late it was, 8:40pm. He felt bad for staying so long.
"Shit! I'm sorry flower boy, didn't realize how fast time flies. I hope I wasn't any bother." He said and made his way to leave. Josh grabbed his arm, startling the angel and pulling his arm away quickly. Josh didn't know why he did it, but something deep down didn't want Ty to leave him.
"U-uh, I...nevermind, you can go. Thanks for staying Ty." His cheeks were burning a noticable pink. Tyler looked at him confusingly before saying his last goodbye for the night.
Ty continued his way out, walking downstairs. He knew Kelly and Chris aren't at the house at this time so he had to have his keys with him. Remembering this, on his way to the front door, he was patting the pockets of his jeans to make sure his keys were still there.
"Fuck." He mumbled quietly to himself. He tries to remember where he left them, then it struck. He left them on the counter at his house. He didn't expect to be gone for so long so he didn't care much to bring them along.
"Leaving already Tyler?" A cheerful voice chirps, once again startling him. He turns around to see Josh's mom looking at him. He was too weak to use any abilities that may help him break into his home. So he had to resort to something else.
"Actually Momma Dun...I-uh left my keys at home and my parents aren't going to be home until late." He replies embarrassingly. He hoped the Duns would let him stay the night.
"Well, you can stay the night if you'd like. Saturday mornings are pancake days, I wouldn't mind making a few extra." She smiles at him kindly. He lets out a sigh of relief.
