Let's see if I can a chapter up finally lmao. Also, TW- this chapter gets kinda heavy as it describes Tyler feeling weak and sick. Please be careful

It was morning now, and Tyler woke up on the air mattress, and something wasn't right. Besides his eyelids feeling heavy, his chest felt really tight, and his muscles felt like he overly exerted himself the day before. He was extremely sore, and could barely sit up, his back felt bruised, and pain shot up as soon as he tried straightening his posture. Something wasn't right. He tried not to groan or make any noises of discomfort because he could tell from the silence that Josh was still sleeping. He leaned his back against the wall, but as soon as skin made contact with the the surface, a sharp pain shot through and he couldn't stop himself from letting out a yelp of pain.

In the bed next to him, he heard sheets ruffle and a soft yawn broke the silence. Tyler slowly turned to the source and saw his...best friend, wake up. He sat up, his faded pink hair a bed head mess, and his eyes puffy from sleep. He also took note it must have been cold last night, because Josh was wearing the hoodie Tyler gave him. The angel couldn't help but smile to himself, not aware of the pink color that covered his face, and for a moment, the pain he felt ceased a bit.

" 'Morning Ty" Josh yawned once more, stretching his arms out and over his head.

" 'Morning flower boy, feeling chilly?" he teased lightly.

Josh looked down and remembered that he woke up and changed when he felt himself shivering at night. He chuckled in embarrassment, his cheeks matching the color of the pale pink hoodie.

"just a bit, though the cuts in the back didn't help," he shot a knowing smirk.Tyler looked at him confused for a moment until the boy turned around to show two even slits at the back of the hoodie and flushed at the realization.

"i-i really gave you that hoodie without remembering the slits i cut in most of my hoodies for my wings.." he said with wide eyes. Josh just laughed and got up from his bed, stretching himself once more.

"anyways, I think my mom has breakfast ready so let's get going," he groaned tiredly.

Suddenly as Tyler tried to get up, his body reminded him how much pain he was in, and his knees gave out when he tried getting up. He stumbled back to the bed, groaning. Josh instantly felt panicked and rushed to his side.

"Tyler! Are you okay?!" He rested his hand on the angels shoulder and took a good look at him, and he frowned at what he saw. He looked paler than usual, and his skin was cold, and thats when he felt his stomach drop. Tyler just groaned.

"m-my knees gave out and I started feeling so dizzy and lightheaded." he managed to let out. Josh did the only thing he could think of, he threw off his hoodie and laid it on Tyler and carried him in his arms. The worst part was, he was lighter than he thought. He rushed downstairs, making the angel cough and feel nauseous from the sudden movement.

His mom saw him carry Tyler and her eyebrows furrowed and a concerned frown formed her lips. Josh gave her a look of equal worry.

"Mom I have to go, i'll be back as soon as I can," he rushed out saying, and opened the door without putting on any shoes. He ran to Tyler's house, and knocked on the door as harshly as he could. The angel leaned his weight on Josh, looking for warmth. In only a few seconds, the doorknob turned and a confused Kelly opened the door and her face went white at the sight she saw.

"Kelly, something is wrong, I don't know what happened, he was perfectly fine yesterday, I tried to help him feel better and he was recovering for the most part, he looks worse than he ever did, i'm scared, please do something," his chest was quickly rising up and down, Tyler could feel his heartbeat race, and he closed his eyes in pain, and in guilt. He didn't want to scare Josh like this.
