Time was passing quickly. Tyler woke up from a nap and when he checked the time, it was 11:30pm. Perfect. Tonight he was going to find out just what his girlfriend has been up to. He sat up, gripping a necklace Jenna gave him a while ago to find some comfort. These past few days, he's felt alone, especially when he gained the new information of Jenna sneaking out. He wore the necklace to at least have something left.

Then again, did he really want to find out? Was he ready to face the worst possibility? After all, guilt has been eating him alive, constantly blaming himself that if Jenna was cheating, it was all his fault. He's been so busy, he hasn't found time to appreciate the woman that came all the way from a broken society to be with him. Sure it may have felt weird, like something was off, but surely it was all just shock.

His eyelids still felt heavy, and his body just craved rest. Though he's been sleeping so much, his body should be fine. Yet for some reason it's still recovering after months. Kelly was starting to get worried. She even started breaking rules on using her powers and angel knowledge on Earth and started making Tyler brews to help regain his strength. No one really had a clue on what to do.

Before his eyelids could succumb to sleep, he heard quiet footsteps outside his window that made any exhaustion he was feeling go away. He instantly got on his feet, and he opened his door just a bit to hear any noise. When we heard the quiet click of the door closing, he knew it was time. He stepped out of his room and began slowly walking downstairs. He debated on using a spell that would make him silent but his body was in no state to produce such skills. So he simply tried his best to be stealthy. He finally made his way to the door and opened it slowly and slipped outside, making sure not to lock the door. He didn't want to bother Josh again.

The angel decided to check the location that him and Jenna used to hang out before she came to live on Earth. He made his way to the park he was at earlier, when he broke down for the first time in a long time. That park held many memories now. Tyler now just has a bittersweet feeling towards the place. He found Josh crying there, then eventually had a cry there too. How emotional. Now, he was going to find out what the hell Jenna was doing. How will he feel about the park then? Will it feel the same or hold a new bitter memory? He tried not to think of it, he was still somewhat hopeful. The night was cold and crisp, Tyler just having a hoodie to keep him warm. The warm light of the lamp posts buzzed quietly as he walked on the sidewalk, and he could hear the life of the night insects deep in the woods. It calmed his nerves somewhat.

As he approached the park, he started making way onto the familiar path he hasn't walked in a while. He stood in front of it for a bit, taking a deep breath. This could be the last time he will ever walk this path. He walked slowly, and tried to hide among low tree branches and tried to hear something. It was silent. Yet he kept sneaking and slowly stepping along. He checked his watch and it read 11:55pm. 12:00am is when angel magic works best, so the probability of a portal working is much higher. He knew that Jenna knew, he also knew that she knew no other secret areas that would be best to open a portal. So if she was trying to make contact with someone else, this was the only place she could go to.

What if she wasn't here though? Where on Earth could she wander off to every night? His eyebrows furrowed in deep thoughtful and confusion as he kept lazily walking. Then he saw a faint bright light ahead of him. The light of either a portal or angel wings. He picked up his pace slightly, careful on not making sounds that would give him away. As he approached the hidden area with the bench, he walked slower and crouched, peaking through leaves. The light was much brighter and he could see the area in full view. He buried himself in the trees and vines so he wasn't seen. With the light, he could see Jenna standing in front of an opening portal, her eyes bright and excited. Her hands clapped cheerfully, her smile matching her whole mood.

Tyler wondered if that's how she looked when she was about to see him when she lived in the angel world.

He shook the thought from his head. She loved him. She had to. They've been through so much, she couldn't be cheating.

...right?

The portal was now open and Tyler waited, with a sharp glare from the light. His heart was racing and he was scared Jenna could hear it. Please. He begged. Please be that Jenna still loves me. He was scared, the most he's felt since he got sent to this world. His hand were shaking as he gripped a weak branch in front of him to hide him.

A figure stepped into this world from the portal. A man. Tyler checked his watch again. Midnight. He seemed to be slightly older than the both of them, maybe 19. His hair was dark, shaggy, messy and covering his eyes slightly. He was well built, with green eyes and sharp face structure. He smiled at the sight of Jenna and Tyler felt his blood run cold.

"Jason!" Jenna squealed, wrapping her arms around the dude. They held each other and just stood there. Tyler gripped the branch tighter, breathing becoming something hard to do suddenly. His eyes started to sting with tears.

"Hey baby.." the guy said happily, pressing his forehead against his girl. The two looked at each other for a moment and leaned in for a quick kiss. Tyler could throw up at the sight.

"I missed you so much babe." Jenna smiled, a smile that was once for Tyler.

And Tyler felt his whole world stop.

So he ran, he sneaked away as far as he could and fucking ran as fast as he could back home. He didn't care how his body would react afterwards. He ran with no remote, not caring for the aching and screaming of his lungs. How could she? Tyler put his trust in this girl since he was 14, he told her his plans, his dreams, his hopes and his fears. And she crushed those years in one moment. Tears were running down Tyler's face, quickly being wiped by the still wind being blown in his face as he ran. The way she looked at him drive Tyler mad. Did she ever look at him like that? Tyler felt really sick. It wasn't until he was back home and inside that he calmed his breathing. His lungs hurt and each exhale brought a metal taste in his mouth. It made him feel worse.

He climbed up stairs to the bathroom and that short moment of exercise gave him a wave of dizziness and nausea. He ran to the bathroom and let out all the contents of his stomach into the toilet. He puked until he was dry heaving and the feeling went away. He sat by the toilet, flushing its contents. Tears were running down his face again and he sat there in defeat. He heard a knocking at the door and the delicate sound gave it away that it was Kelly. He got up and opened the door, falling into Kelly's arms in tears.

**its safe to read again, loves****

"Sh-she...Jenna.." he tried to get out, but his throat tightened and he started sobbing on Kelly's shoulder. Kelly shushed him quietly and rubbed his back, she lead him to his room and held him like any mom would. She let him cry until his body could no longer produce more tears. Inside she was worried his body would be beyond exhausted from what happened tonight.

Yet she held the crying boy, trying to carry all the pieces of his heart.
