The bell rang and the whole English class ran to get out of the classroom. Josh Dun got out and walked to his locker, waiting for his boyfriend of two years, Eric. His mocha eyes lighten up when he sees the familiar soft face heading towards him. After getting a good look, his happy features fall when he sees his significant other looking stressed and unhappy.

Instantly, he holds his arms out waiting for his lover to receive his gesture and fall into his embrace. The pink-haired boy hugs his beloved and rubs his back soothingly.

"Rough day, love?" He asks softly. Eric nods and sighs so quietly only his Josh can hear.

"Yeah babe, I'm really stressed. Stop by my house afterschool? I know I'll feel better if your there." The smaller boy nods holding out his pretty painted pinky.

"I pinky promise I'll be there, love." He smiles warmly, reassuring his stressed boyfriend. He links his pinky with his promising babyboy and nods. He walks off into the crowd of rushing students leaving Josh infatuated as ever. He sighs happily, and gathers his stuff, ready to walk home. He puts on his favorite gold glitter rimmed circular sunglasses and heads out the school building. As he begins his walk, he waves goodbye to his friends, Gee, Frank and Issa.

He enjoys the spring breeze and the wonderful view of the neighborhood flowers. He looks ahead and to his surprise, he sees his neighbor and classmate, Tyler Joseph. He walks home as well but often walks behind Josh instead of ahead. Today he must of gotten a head start. He was always intrigued by his neighbor from the very start. Tyler moved in next door freshman year, and when Josh was outside looking at the small family of three taking out boxes, he found himself staring at Tyler.

That day, Tyler was moody and gave Josh a look that said "Why the hell are you staring at me?" The feminine boy didn't reply and walked back inside, silently cursing at himself for the poor first impression. Since then, he made no move in starting a friendship. One of the first things he did that day was tell his friends of the cute neighbor that moved next door. And since then they would sometimes attempt to flirt with the boy, which Josh found quite funny.

Josh still remembers that day and still feels the same embarrassment, he could have possibly started something. Staring curiously at your new neighbor wasn't a good first impression, but he couldn't help it. Tyler always looked mysterious. He gave off the typical "bad boy" vibe. He was quiet, and responded in rude ways and ignored his teachers. He always wore a hoodie and had his hood put up on all times. Teachers always argued him with that, but he never obeyed.

Josh should stay away from people like him, but Tyler's odd behavior always magnitized him to ponder about him. When he wasn't sleeping in class, he was writing or rolling his eyes at the lesson he was being taught. The pink haired boy also admired his appearance, despite the obvious face of distaste the boy always had, Josh found Tyler, adorable.

Shaking his head, Josh laughs quietly to himself. He loves Eric very much, but he can't help but to have a small crush on Tyler. Those crushes that one may call a "squish"

When Josh stops in front of his house, he takes the mail and makes his way to the entrance. Before going inside, Josh puts his stuff down and gets the watering can. Its become a habit for him to water the flowers before going inside. He fills the can with the hose and starts his round of first watering the tulips.

He walks back to the mailbox to where the tulips are planted around it. He smiles to them, "Hello lovelies, I'm back for your daily refreshing watering. You all are still blooming beautifully I see!" Josh beams at the tulips knowing they can't reply. He treats the flowers with love, since they are alive afterall. In the distance he hears a small chuckle and looks to where it came from.

He sees his attractive neighbor who he was thinking about earlier, looking at him. When he notices that Josh heard him and was looking back at, the moody boy quickly defends himself.
"The hell you looking at flower boy?"
Josh shrugs watering his plants and doesn't respond. He walks to the flowers on the side of his house not expecting more words from the boy.

"Not responding?" He asks annoyingly. Josh nods at him and starts watering the others.
"Well, you stared first." Josh decides to say.
"Says who?" He barks back.
"Says the one who was chuckling at me." Josh protests, his sass sound strong.
"Who says I was chuckling at you, pinky?" Josh giggles at the nickname clearly given by his hair.

"Well I turned, and you were looking. Simple as that." Tyler scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Solid evidence." He replies.
"Solid enough for me, considering it adds up fine." Josh says in a matter-of-fact way.
"Whatever," the latter replies defeated.

"Why talk to them?" He adds, changing the subject. Josh wanted to run back inside, not in the mood to be taunted by him.

But Josh was Josh and he didn't want to appear rude.
The flowers?" Josh asks and Tyler nods.
"They're alive."
"So? They die quickly and clearly don't have feelings." Tyler shot back.
"Well actually-"

"Talking to them makes you look dumb." The feminine boy scoffs, and Tyler smirks knowing he's getting on his nerves.

"Whatever." Josh says, finishing his chore and making his way back to the door to open it, hoping the conversation would stop there.

"Oh and flower boy?" Tyler speaks up.
Josh turns, giving him an annoyed look.
"You look lovely" and to that, Josh rolls his eyes and inside bringing his stuff with him.

He knows his rude neighbor didn't mean that and was  commenting on his different appearance. It's not often you see a boy with plugs in his ears and pink hair, dressing in a way that society "made" for girls. Josh loves the way he dresses and thinks clothes have no gender. He hates when people make comments about it.

He decides to not think much about it and walks to his room. To pass time,  he decides to change his outfit for tonight and picks out a new one (the outfit in the picture above). He quickly does his homework, which takes no time considering he was quite smart. He then eats quick snack and sends his boyfriend a text letting him know he's on his way.

He walks to his vanity and sits pulling out his large box of makeup. He applies a neutral pink shade to his lips then gives them a neat outline. He gently applies a nice coat of mascara and curls his eyelashes afterwards. He takes his black liquid eyeliner and aims to wing it, literally. After many attempts, his eyeliner is sharp and Josh is happy with the result.

The beautiful boy then picks out one of his favorite heels and puts on his favorite choker. He walks out the door, and locks before walking once again. As he walks, he can't stop thinking about the conversation he had with Tyler.

He called Josh lovely. And whether it was sarcastic or not, he decided to take it as a compliment.

Okay so I have writer's block on my peterick so I'll probably focus a bit more on this fic. I honestly prefer writing in this point of view. And this story may get dark in some places, like the next chapter so be prepared. Next chapter will have a warning so be mindful of that.

How was this for a first chapter?
